Dinner

Dinner will be served overlooking the York River, and we hope to catch the beginning of a beautiful August sunset.

We hope that you join us in the morning for breakfast. We will be providing a variety of beverages and food that you may grab at your leisure. This is the perfect moment to explore the 26 acres of property!

Stay

Scotland Fields includes two beautifully renovated historic homes (a 1732 farmhouse and a 1908 craftsman bungalow) that can sleep all guests. Because the houses are old, some of the rooms will be shared. If you would like to stay elsewhere, we have provided a few suggestions. All family and family friends will be staying off property.

We are so excited for you to join us to celebrate! If you would like to contribute we have set up a fund to go towards our honeymoon. We are getting married the night before in an intimate ceremony, but we still want to mark the occasion with our friends! There will be drinks, dinner, dancing, and a bonfire.

Please arrive promptly at 5:30 pm. Since guests will be spending the night, expect a late-night event! Get ready to celebrate!!

Is there a dress code?

We kindly ask guests to dress in semi-formal attire. (We hope that you can wear something summery in your closet that you've been wanting to wear!) For women: Long or short dresses, jumpsuits or two-pieces. Grass-friendly shoes recommended. For men: Blazer or suit, no need for a tie.

We have rented out the entire property, and all guests will have a place to sleep in one of the two houses.

If you are staying the night, please pack everything you would need to spend a typical night away. Breakfast will be served in the morning!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is parking at Scotland Fields. Upon arriving, you will be guided on where to park. Please be aware that Scotland Fields is located on Route 91. This road is a bit rural, and the roads are curvy. Drive carefully!

Will the celebration be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A little bit of both. We hope to soak up the best of an August evening by kicking off the night outdoors and then moving into the barn. There will be a bonfire (weather permitting) later in the evening! We do have a rain plan in case of bad weather.
