We both began our third year in college at the University of Wyoming in the middle of a pandemic. Trying to find love could not have found it’s self more challenging than at a time like that, but when we first connected it had never felt as easy. For our first date we found ourselves at a nice little restaurant in Laramie called Altitude. The nerves were high, but nothing felt more right. One date turned into many more and before we knew it we found ourselves always finding time to hang out, even if it was to do homework. College came and went and before we knew it Courtney began her student teaching in Cheyenne. With the move back is when “long” distance began. We spoke on the phone every night, and saw each other every weekend…as long as it wasn’t snowing. Once Beau finished his masters degree he moved to Cheyenne, where we have began our life together. We spend most nights together dreaming of the future as we begin our careers. This is only the beginning of our story and we are excited for many more memories to be made.
Beau spent many months thinking of the perfect way to ask. When it came down to it he decided to keep it simple yet sweet. With the help of Courtney’s mom, Cindy, her brother, Zane, and her best friend, Dayanara they were able to pull off the perfect proposal. Courtney was at work when they pulled this all together. They set up rose petals going down the stairs with candles and a big pink heart in the middle where Beau stood. Zane djed, and played Courtney’s favorite song Black and White by Niall Horan. Courtney had to stay late for a meeting, unknowing what she was walking into when she got home and keeping everyone on their toes. When she got home her mom and dad were sitting on the couch “trying” to act natural. Her mom told her her brother had something he was really excited to show her. Courtney walked toward the basement we’re she saw rose petals and she knew right away. As she walked down the stairs she saw Beau standing there, not nervous at all. He told her all things he is excited for in the future and then popped the question. We celebrated with some wine and Texas Roadhouse.

Matron of Honor
Day and I met in the 5th grade when Day moved to Cheyenne. We found common interest in One Direction, romance stories, and being completely weird together. We have been nearly inseparable since. We moved to Laramie together where we were roommates for 2 years. We have been by each others side for every stage of life and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else being my matron of honor.
Bridesmaid
I have been friends with Bailey since Kindergarten. We were both too shy so our Kindergarten teacher set us up. From that point on we had many sleepovers filled with playing babies, Barbie’s and many movies. We have continued to stay in touch into our adult life. I am excited to have Bailey by my side on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Synthia is Courtney’s cousin. Synthia is married to my cousin, and I have always wanted something like them. Although Synthia hasn’t been around for my whole life, I can’t remember a time without Synthia. I know I can go to Synthia for anything, especially when it comes to teaching. She always has the best advice. This special day would not be the same without her there.
Bridesmaid
Nevaeh is Beau’s niece. Nevaeh and I had a girls day where we talked over coffee and went and got our nails done. We bonded over talking about her uncle, Beau. Now, we will be family so it’s only fitting to have her apart of this special day.
Bridesmaid
Michala is Courtney’s cousin. We grew up hanging out any chance we’d get. We used to live right next to each other, when we wanted to hang out we would go outside and yell over the fence to see if they could play. We spent many of times playing babies together. We also saw One Direction together which is something we bonded over. I am happy to have her as a part of my day.
Junior Bridesmaid
Joslynn is Courtney’s cousin. Courtney remembers holding her as a baby. Courtney loved playing with her and seeing her whenever she was in town. Joslynn came up and spent a week in Cheyenne with her family here where her and Courtney had many sleepovers.
Honorary bridesmaid
Tiffany is Courtney’s cousin. She is sweet and funny. Tiffany always has a funny joke to add into the conversation and enjoys making everyone laugh. We are excited for her to be apart of our day in any way.
Groom
Mother of the Groom
Best Man
Peter is Beau’s brother. Peter has always been there for me, being the older brother, I knew I could always go to him for advice. Even though we had a 15 year age difference, he was the best brother I could for, nothing could break the bond as brothers. Peter was the perfect choice for a best man and I am happy to have him by my side on my special day.
Groomsman
Cody and I have been friends since middle school. He and I were roommates in college in Laramie. College had brought us closer than we were before. We had a lot of good times during that stage of life that I will never forget. We attended most sporting events at UW together, with our partners. I am excited him apart of this day.
Groomsman
Shawn and I have been close friends since I can remember, when we met long a time ago it clicked right away. We then knew we would be great friends. We have had a lot of great times together. Shawn is someone who I could always joke around, have a great time and talk about life with. I am very pleased to have him as part of my day.
Groomsman
Jaydan is a great friend of mine. He is someone who I have been through it all with.He has pushed me to try new things and to be the best version of myself, with a few clever disses along the way. I couldn’t imagine this day without him, he is a very important person in my life and I am happy to have him to be a part of it.
Groomsman
Gabe is Beau’s nephew. We are closer in age than me and my brother so naturally we were very close growing up. He is a very funny guy who can make almost anyone laugh at any time, even if the jokes make no sense. We have had a lot of fun times together and seem to always be laughing about something when we are around one another. This day wouldn’t be complete without him so I am grateful that he is a part of the party.
Flower Girl
Paisley is Courtney’s cousin. Her spunk is always fun to be around. She loves performing and singing song. Courtney could not think of better a better flower girl.
Flower Girl
Karsyn is Courtney’s cousin and Paisleys little sister. Together they are silly and fun to be around. She will make a cute flower girl.
Usher
Zane is Courtney’s brother. Not only is he helping to usher but he is a very important person to have on my wedding day. Zane has been my best friend since he was born. He is someone I can count on no matter what and I can always go to him for anything. We spend many late nights talking about whatever is going on, or just talking about nonsense. I am happy to have apart of my day and my life.
Usher
Josh is Courtney’s cousin. I remember Josh coming over when he was just a little boy. We played many rounds of hide and seek where he would hide in the ottoman. He came down to visit his family in Cheyenne for a week where we spent many times watching movies and playing Nintendo switch golf, even though I’m not very good at it.
Singer
Paige was in Mama Mia, and when I heard her voice I knew I wanted her to sing at my wedding. She has a beautiful singing voice and wonderful heart. She is accompanied by her husband.
Officiant
This is a great tour about the history of downtown Cheyenne.
