Our Love Story

It all began in the most unexpected way: a simple Twitter message. Garrett, at San Diego State University, and Courtney, at Sonoma State University, were living miles apart, but one fateful message changed everything. What started as a casual conversation soon blossomed into something far more special. We quickly realized that we were inseparable, with every phone call, text, and visit only deepening our connection. Fast forward to December 2020, when we made the leap and moved in together. It was a time of uncertainty for many, but for us, it was a chance to create a home filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Our adventures together grew even sweeter when, in May 2021, we adopted Jersey—our playful, loving, and adorable pup, who’s been the best addition to our little family. Now, here we are—ready to begin the next chapter of our journey. From a chance Twitter message to a life filled with unforgettable moments, we can’t wait to see what the future holds as we continue this adventure, side by side. Thank you for sharing in our joy as we celebrate the love we’ve built together, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. With love, Courtney & Garrett

FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our semi-formal wedding calls for elegant yet comfy attire! Guys, dress pants with a button-down or blazer are perfect. Ladies, cocktail dresses or dressy outfits are great. Since it’s November, bring a light jacket or sweater for warmth. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We can only accommodate guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding as we keep our wedding intimate!

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of onsite parking available at the venue for all our guests. If you plan on enjoying the festivities and having a drink, don’t worry! Our venue allows you to leave your car overnight if needed. Alternatively, Ubers and Lyfts will be available to call at the end of the night. We want everyone to have a great time, so you can relax and celebrate without any worries!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are plenty of hotels in the surrounding areas of Petaluma, Rohnert Park, and Santa Rosa to choose from. The bride and groom will be staying at the Courtyard Petaluma Sonoma County

Question

Where’s your registry?

Answer

We don’t have one—our home is already stocked! Instead, we’d love contributions to our honeymoon fund below to help us make memories (and maybe sip a few margaritas)
