We were coworkers at a busy restaurant in Orem, Utah for over a year and didn’t talk too much, but always enjoyed our interactions with each other. In July of 2023, we attended a wedding of a mutual friend together on a whim (Harmony needed a ride) and afterwards decided we wanted to be more than just coworkers.

After a few months of becoming better friends and growing closer we started dating and quickly fell in love. From summer loving to spending the holiday season together we soon came to the agreement that we never wanted the joy of our love to fade.

Andrew stayed home all day, claiming he was waiting for an important package for his roommate who was out of town. In secret, he was waiting for the ring to be delivered and trying to keep me entertained without revealing too many details. Once the ring finally arrived, we then set out that evening to attend a bonfire with our friends, but ended up at an overlook over Utah Valley. Andrew and friends had set up pictures and lights, detailing our memories and adventures so far together. He then got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course I said, yes!
