Despite frequenting similar routes throughout their younger years, Jordan and Gisela were destined to meet somewhere neither of them had ever set foot in before: Nino's Place in Modesto. There isn't a more romantic- borderline hazardous -dive bar this side of the Sierra Nevada. Gisela saw Jordan slow dancing with a bottle of beer and, emboldened by a bit of booze, approached him to ask if he would like to dance with something warmer. Jordan said, "yes" and their story began. Fast forward nearly five years, Gisela had the privilege of saying, "Yes" to Jordan as he proposed in front of her family in Hawaii. Four months later, they held an intimate elopement in Lake Tahoe to seal the deal. Now that the boring stuff is taken care of, it's time to christen the marriage with jubilation and good spirits! Lots and lots of spirits..

Travel Note
All hotels above are ~15 minutes from the venue. There is plenty of parking on site but a rideshare service is strongly recommended so that you can make the most of the open bar. If you wish to be present for the ceremony, be sure to schedule your transportation ahead of time. Guest will not be allowed into the space once the procession begins. Rideshare options are limited in Foresthill after dark so the couple is providing a shuttle bus starting at ~8:30pm until after the event ends for anyone who would like a ride back to the hotel areas. It will run every 30-40 minutes.
Due to the nature of the event, the guest list is very intentional and intimate. Only the individuals explicitly named on the invitation can join the event. Thank you for understanding.
To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, this is an 18+ event. An exception will be made for infants and lap children two or younger, so long as they remain in the arms of a parent at all times. In order to prevent interruptions and background noise during the ceremony, we ask that any children be held away from the ceremony space until it is over.
Please put all phones and cameras away as soon as the procession begins and for the duration of the ceremony. The couple has hired a wonderful photographer to capture this special moment and their photos/video would be less picturesque with phones in the shot. A time to take photos will be announced before the couple leaves the arch. Thank you.
If you require any dietary accommodations, please reach out to the bride/groom before the event so they can notify the caterer and meet your needs.
Beer and wine will be provided throughout the event. Liquor is not allowed on site. Thank you for respecting the venue policy.
