It all began in 2018 at a church youth camp. At the time, there was nothing extraordinary—no sparks flying, no love at first sight. We were just two people in the same space, unaware that destiny had already begun weaving our story together. Over the years, our paths continued to cross, and a genuine friendship blossomed. We laughed, shared life’s highs and lows, and built a bond that neither of us knew would one day lead to something much solid. Then, something changed. Ayanda’s heart recognized the love first. He saw in Advent something special, something worth waiting for. But of course, true to her nature, Advent made sure he worked for it—playing a little hard to get, just to keep things interesting. Eventually, love won. The connection that started as friendship grew into something undeniable. Our dating journey wasn’t long because when you know, you just know. And so, we chose forever. Now, as we prepare to say, “I do,” we celebrate not just the love we’ve found but the beautiful journey that brought us here.
