Jacob and Hannah met in August 2023 when Jacob was invited to attend a community group through Remnant Church--a group of which Hannah was already a member. After slowly getting to know each other over several months, Jacob lingered after group one Thursday in January and asked Hannah out on a date. After a laugh-filled first date at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on January 21st, 2024, the two planned many more dates, before becoming "official" on Valentine's Day that year. Over the course of the year, Jacob and Hannah continued to get to know each other and imagine a life together. Across game nights, Churchill coffee walks, date nights, museums, road trips, a car accident, Jacob's brother's wedding in Nashville, a trip to meet Hannah's grandparents in the Carolinas, and many, many other highs and lows, the two fell more and more in love. On December 18th Jacob proposed to Hannah in a custom museum displaying they’re relationship. Now, they look forward to a life spent together, seeking to honor Christ through their relationship and marriage.

Maid of Honor
Hannah and Lindsey started out as just acquaintances. But they became fast friends after Lindsey moved in. After a year and a half of living together they had become more than friends. They had become sisters, sharing in the highs and lows of dating, friendships, family work and life in general. Lindsey was Hannah’s confidant when she was overthinking or freaking out over nothing. Lindsey’s honesty and deep love kept Hannah grounded as she branched out into a new season of dating. She was the very first person Hannah called when Jacob asked her out. and Lindsey was there as Hannah got ready for that date. On the night Jacob proposed, Lindsey stayed up waiting just so she could hear all about it and celebrate with her friend. Of course Hannah would want her right by her side and she says “I do.”
Best Man
Jacob and Carson have been close friends since they met in middle school, making up comic strips and sharing jokes in a bible study. Over the years, they've shared many life experiences together, including cranking out portfolios in humanities class, performing in shows with CYT, studying theater at Liberty University and getting the chance to perform together again, and more recently, working together (and sharing a desk!) at CharacterWorks. Through highs and lows, Carson has been a faithful friend, providing encouragement, discernment, and sound biblical advice when Jacob needed it most.

Check out this really cool indoor putt-putt course and restaurant! If you go, you can find the room the picture above was taken in!
Visit the place where it all started! We went here on our first date. It's free and a ton of fun! The outdoor gardens are also worth checking out. The VMFA is across the street from Remnant Church, our church and where the wedding ceremony will take place.
This coffee shop is super cool and important to our story. We had many early morning dates here when we first started dating.
Our first true dinner date! Great for a date night while you are in Richmond!
Invited children will be listed by name in your R.S.V.P. (children under 2 are also welcome).
For the ceremony at Remnant, only street parking is available. Please arrive early to give yourself plenty of time for parking. There is additional paid parking across the street at the VMFA (Virginia Museum of Fine Arts) which costs $6 for the day. For the reception at Fairmount, park in the large lot behind the church.
The wedding and reception will both be held indoors at their respective venues.
