Zachary and I met at BJ’s Brewhouse in Lewisville, Texas, both in transitional phases of our lives. We often joke that we “found love in a hopeless place.” Our connection deepened one night after work when I met his dog, Zannah, whom Zach had named before we were together. I was amazed at how much she resembled my own dog, Oliver, and their bond felt like a sign for me to pursue a relationship with him. It’s funny that “Zannah” is a mix of our names, Zach and Hannah. When Zach learned I was also a Christian, he felt certain about us. As we prepare for our wedding, we’re grateful for our supportive family and friends. Our love for God, our families, and each other unites us. We share laughter and learn from our different interests—Zach loves video games and anime, while I enjoy romantic dramas. Our family grew with the adoption of Stalker, a stray cat who now adds joy to our lives. Together, we’ve seen God create a beautiful story, like puzzle pieces forming a strong foundation for our future. We make each other better, and our bond grows stronger through both good times and bad. We look forward to a lifetime of adventures as one happy family.
