What's the best airport to use?

Answer

We recommend John Wayne Airport (SNA) as the easiest and closest option, located about 15-20 minutes from Paséa Hotel & Spa. Long Beach Airport (LBA) is another good choice and is approximately 25-30 minutes away (though has limited flight options). Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is about 45-60 minutes away depending on traffic and has the widest range of domestic and international flight options. The hotel will be easily accessible from SNA, LBA and LAX via taxi or ride share.

What should I wear to the Anand Karaj (Sikh Ceremony)?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to dress modestly for the Sikh ceremony as a sign of respect. Attire should cover the shoulders and knees (long dresses, skirts, pants, or suits are all perfect), and guests will be asked to cover their heads while inside the gurdwara - scarves or bandanas are welcome, and head coverings will also be available on site if needed. Shoes will be removed before entering the prayer hall, so we recommend wearing footwear that's easy to slip on and off. Traditional Indian attire is welcome but not required!

What should I wear to the Sangeet?

Answer

The Sangeet will be held outdoors, so we recommend festive, colorful cocktail attire that's comfortable for an ocean-adjacent night in Orange County. Indian attire is absolutely welcome and encouraged if you'd like to lean into the spirit of the celebration (think lehengas, sarees, kurtas or sherwanis), but it's not required - cocktail dresses or suits are perfect too. April evenings in OC can cool off a bit, so you may want to bring a light jacket or wrap, and we suggest comfortable shoes for an evening of music, dancing and celebration!

What should I wear to the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The dress code for Saturday evening's events is Indian formal or black tie optional. Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the Ocean Lawn at Paséa, with the reception to follow indoors in the Sapphire Ballroom. We recommend bringing a light wrap, jacket or shawl for the ceremony and cocktail hour in case it gets breezy!

How do I get to the Anand Karaj (Sikh Ceremony)?

We will have transportation running from Paséa Hotel & Spa to the gurdwara and back. You do not need to be staying at Paséa to take advantage of the shuttle. Please check back soon for more details on scheduled departure times!
