Let's kick off the wedding weekend with a welcome dinner on Friday! Please RSVP if you will arrive by 7pm and would like to join. Or come join for a drink if you arrive later on!

Saturday, July 20, 2024

Welcome!

4:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Meet at the main building of The Driftwood Lodge. You're welcome to join us earlier in the afternoon to hang out with the Groom while the Bride is getting ready :)

Wedding Ceremony

5:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Semi-Formal: Suits, gowns, cocktail dresses.

For shoes, keep in mind that you may have to traverse some grass and gravel roads over the course of the evening.

Cocktail Reception

5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Drinks will be served on the Lodge Patio.

Reception Dinner

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Dinner will be served on the Main Lawn. Sunset is 8:30pm so we can experience the ocean front golden hour together post-dinner/pre-dancing!

Dance the Night Away!

We'll make our way down the hill over to The Barn for dancing and drinks.

Russian River Float

Swim Suits + Sun Screen!

Join the newly weds for a lazy river float down the Russian River! Plan to leave by 9:45am for the one hour drive to catch where we will take the 11am shuttle from the El Molino High School.

Right across the street from the venue! We highly recommend booking here for easy commute to/from the venue with no driving needed (keep in mind the roads are windy and dark at night)

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

The wedding venue is about ~2.5 hours drive north from SFO. If you're traveling from out of town we recommend renting a car for the weekend.

Registry

Our story started with a roadtrip in Iceland, where we were instantly intrigued by how easy and fun traveling together felt. Ever since, we've embarked on countless roadtrips logging over 55k miles while living out of a truck, covering all the western states (plus BC, the Yukon and Alaska!), and listening to hours of obscure podcasts (when we weren't car-aoke-ing!). Adventure and travel has been a fundamental part of our story and relationship, and we've come to value keeping a relatively small material footprint. All that to say, we have what we need and are content with what we have! However, we know some of you have been asking for a registry to be able to gift a wedding present (thank you!!) so we have set up this honeymoon fund in lieu of a traditional registry if you would like to contribute to our first roadtrip as a married couple in the Norwegian Fjords.

What should I pack for the weekend?

Answer

Here's what to expect during our wedding weekend. We can't wait to celebrate with you! * Some of the event will be outside so you may want to bring an extra layer. It virtually never rains in July, and temperatures range from 63-83 F (17-28 C). * Bring a bathing suit and some outdoorable clothes and shoes, especially if you’d like to come river floating on Sunday!

What should I expect for the river float?

Answer

It'll be a relaxing slow float down the Russian River in an inflatable tube (which will be supplied). We'll have coolers of cold drinks (both alcoholic and not) and some snacks! Expect to be on the water up to ~4 hours. The Russian River area is sunny and reaches high 80s (F) / 30 (C) so the water will feel nice and refreshing! Make sure to bring water shoes, crocs or sandals.
