The story of Debbie and Heegun began in the summer of 2019. When they first met in New Jersey, Debbie was a college student and Heegun had just moved from Seattle for work. What started as a friendship eventually blossomed into a deeper connection. It was clear they were more than just friends. 
 About a month into their relationship, Debbie had to return to Canada, marking the beginning of their long-distance journey. After four years of nurturing their relationship across the miles between Toronto and Austin, Heegun asked Debbie the ultimate question, to which she answered YES! 
 Now, the two are ready to embark on a new journey together in Austin, Texas.
