Things To Do
Bear Creek Overlook Trailhead
The overlook of Bear Creek Canyon is absolutely stunning. You can see it in a little less than 3 miles out and back. A long drive up the mountain gains you some altitude. The trail is listed at moderate with an elevation gain of 1,160. To access the trailhead, take US Highway 93 to Tucker crossing, 3 miles south of Victor, turn west onto Bear Creek Road and follow to the Red Crow Road turning right. After two miles, turn west on Pleasant View Drive as it winds along the mountains. Look for the junction with Forest Road 1325 after 3.9 miles. Follow for another 3.6 miles to the trailhead at the gated end of the road.
Fly Fishing The Bitterroot River
Easy Access Getting on the river is the easy part. A plethora of Access Sites are maintained by the state and Montana’s Stream Access Laws are really friendly to the fisherman. Once you access the river at a designated site, you can fish up or down as long as you are within the “ordinary high-water mark.” For more info go to: fwp.mt.gov
Chief Joseph Ranch
Where they filmed part of the Yellowstone TV series. If you’re traveling south on Highway 93, Chief Joseph Ranch is located approximately 65 miles south of Missoula. About one mile south of Darby, you’ll cross over Fern Creek and make your first right (to the west) at our entrance Our gates have a bronze Indian hunting a bison ,and sit between two stone pillars with a sign above reading “Chief Joseph Ranch”. We are located at mile marker 29.
Blodgett Canyon
A classic Bitterroot hike just outside of Hamilton. Follow Blodgett Creek into a canyon with views of spectacular cliffs and spires. The trail is well-maintained with a mild elevation gain. Hikers that make it back 3.5 miles are rewarded with a waterfall.
Hamilton Montana Farmer's Market
Located on Bedford, 2nd and 3rd Street in downtown historic Hamilton, MT. A venue where community and visitors come together to socialize. 9am - 12:30 pm, May - October.

The Daly Mansion Preservation Trust is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the Daly Mansion, its buildings, grounds and the history they convey. It is a center for education, cultural and community activities.

Answer
The short answer is yes! We encourage you to get out and explore Montana while you are making the trip! However, we are currently looking at having a shuttle or car service travel from Missoula/Hamilton for the ceremony. We don't have anything locked down at this time, but will update you as we have more information.

While we love your little ones, we have decided to have our wedding be an adult-only event. Thank you for understanding!
