We first crossed paths online (Hinge, in case you were wondering), both casually dating at the time and not looking for anything serious. A conversation ensued between us, but sparks didn't exactly fly. I GHOSTED Brittany for reasons that are currently under dispute by the both of us. But Brittany is pretty persistent. She followed up and asked me to plan a date for us. But again, things flatlined when I received no response after texting to schedule something... ...I promise we're getting to the good part. A few weeks later, Brittany spotted me and some friends at a local queer party and made the brave move to approach. We locked eyes and conversations immediately began about children and our future together. We were lost in each other's eyes for the remainder of evening. Brittany called the next day to play 21 questions and 6 months later we were engaged to be married. It seemed fast to some but when you know, you know. We are so excited to be on this journey together. Everyday has felt like a dream, the sweetest rom-com, and the most beautiful love song.
