The story of how we got here

Invisible String Theory: used to describe the idea that your "person" is always present in your life's path, even when you haven't met yet.

Cole and Haley grew up in the small town of Fallbrook, where their paths almost crossed numerous times. Haley had known of Cole since middle school, but he had no idea she existed. Their first connection came much earlier—when Haley was just a young girl in elementary school. She took a dance class and would often watch Carly, Cole's sister, before her own lessons began. Reflecting back, Haley’s journey began even earlier. At just 4½, she joined a gymnastics team where her first friend was Sabrina—Carly’s best friend and Erik's sister, who happened to be Cole's best friend. Over the years, Haley and Sabrina shared countless memories, including Erik cheering them on during performances. Little did Haley know that Erik would later play a significant role in her life as the best friend and best man of the man she would marry. As time went on, Cole and Haley found themselves in overlapping social circles during late elementary and middle school. They often hung out at their friends’ houses, surrounded by siblings, and shared faint memories of each other’s friends sibling's friends without realizing it was each other all along. They even attended the same youth group, where Haley began to notice Cole more, though he remained blissfully unaware of her presence. With Haley being three years younger, their paths rarely intersected in school or church small groups. During middle school, Haley became friends with Carly, which opened up new connections. She heard about the Pancher family growing up, never realizing she would one day become a part of it. In high school, she became a teaching assistant for an adaptive PE class, forming a close bond with Caida, Cole’s other sister. Again, she never imagined that they would one day be sisters. Fast forward to Haley’s third year at PLNU. While living in Point Loma, she decided to download Hinge, completely unaware that Cole was doing the same from Oceanside. When she saw his profile, she immediately recognized him and excitedly texted her mom, asking, "Should I swipe right on Carly and Caida Pancher's brother?" Her mom’s enthusiastic "Yes!" led her to swipe right. When Cole saw Haley’s profile, he didn’t recognize her, but thankfully he swiped right too. The moment they matched, Haley couldn’t contain her excitement and called her mom to share the news. Not mentioning her Fallbrook roots in her bio, she decided to let Cole slowly connect the dots. Their first date sparked an instant connection, and by their third date, Haley was asking deep questions. With each of his answers, she knew she had found the one she had been searching for. Though they both felt the love blossoming by their third date, they held off on saying it until later (a week later). Just a week after their first date, Cole asked Haley to be his girlfriend—no time to waste! Their relationship blossomed beautifully, each finding in the other the perfect partner they had always wanted. With all the near-misses and intertwining connections of their past, their love story is all the more special. It was clear that God knew they needed to wait to meet until the right time, allowing their relationship to last a lifetime.

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

We absolutely adore your little ones! However, for this special occasion, we have decided to make our wedding and reception an adult-only event, with the exception of the children in the wedding party. We encourage you to take this opportunity for a delightful evening out and enjoy the celebration as a special date night. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. We would love for our guests to embrace a semi-formal garden party attire for our wedding. For women, this means wear your favorite spring/summer dress with fun and happy colors. Pair it with comfortable flats or low-heeled sandals/heels that will complement the look while ensuring you’re comfortable on the lawn. For men, feel free to skip the suit and opt for dressy chinos or slacks with a button-down shirt or a casual blazer. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

Will the wedding be outside or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors.

Question

Answer

We kindly ask that you try and carpool to limit the amount of vehicles and allow enough parking for each other. If you’re local we kindly ask that you try to carpool or uber. Thank you so much! Details: You’ll pass the venue’s 2 gates and then on your left, right before the hill will be a long driveway where you’ll turn into to park. In case you get lost, the address for parking is 340 Burma Rd. There will also be signs helping direct you! We’re so excited to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say " I do". We have hired a professional to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
