Haily & Dan met on the first day of teachers college. Some quick "nice to meet you" and "where are you from" conversations over a welcome barbecue. Neither of them knew at that time that this is the person they would later fall in love with, travel the world with, get a dog with and then eventually... you guessed it- be married to! They met again half a year later at an ugly Christmas sweater party. The whole party was jolly.. if you know what I mean. Dan strikes up a conversation with Haily in the hallway. She proceeds to.... suggest they make a handshake. DARN. Friendzoned. It didn't take long though after that for Dan to crawl out of the friend zone and the two went on a date. They have been inseparable ever since. Soon after school they moved to Sweden together to pursue a life that neither of them could have ever crafted in their wildest dreams.
