There’s no doubt that the Lord’s hand has been in every detail of our relationship, from the very beginning. Ephesians 3:20 continuously comes to mind when thinking of our relationship over the last year, truly immeasurably more!❤️ It all started September 1st, when a sweet family friend invited me to a football game with a special plan in mind—to “bump into” a cute new coach at Cypress Christian on the field after the first home game of the season. Little did we know, this casual outing would lead to something so very special. That night, we met for the first time and started chatting later that week. We went on our first date at Chuy’s on September 17th and quickly began spending as much time as we could together on weekends and after games. I quickly fell in love with Jared’s character, confidence, how relational he is, and how much he made me laugh. Jared fell in love with my compassion, passion, and genuine love of others. After spending Christmas apart, the next day we talked on the phone and agreed that we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, worshiping and serving Jesus as a couple. Jared planned the most perfect proposal March 9th, renting out the theater sign in downtown Lufkin asking me to spend forever with him while both of our families were staying at our family farmhouse. It was the biggest surprise and couldn’t have been more perfect. We are so thankful for the impact that each person we’ve invited to the wedding has had on our lives up until this point and we couldn’t imagine celebrating our forever together without you!
