Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code for our celebration is semi-formal attire. No jeans please! We request that you choose muted or neutral tones and stray away from loud colors.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our celebration will be small and intimate to enjoy with our closest people! Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. If your partner is invited, their name is included on your invitation.

Where will the reception take place?

Answer

The cocktail hour and reception will be held at Salty's on Alki Beach in West Seattle. The address for the venue is 1936 Harbor Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98126.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

There are two options for transportation to Salty's on Alki! You can either drive directly to the venue in West Seattle, or you can park in downtown Seattle at Pier 50 and take the water taxi across the bay to West Seattle. From the water taxi dock, it is less than a quarter mile walk up the street to the restaurant, via a paved walkway.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the restaurant as well as street parking nearby. If you choose to take the water taxi from Seattle, you will need to find a private lot or garage near Colman dock as there is no public parking at the pier.

When do I need to be at the venue?

Answer

The doors will not open until 6pm- so no need to come too early!

Where will the after party take place?

Answer

After the reception at Salty's, we will be walking just up the street to Seacrest Park where there will be a boat ready to set sail in the bay. Once we get on the boat- we will not be docking again until then end of the evening.

Where will guests be dropped off at the end of the after party?

Answer

At the end of the evening, guests will be dropped back off at Seacrest Park in West Seattle or can be dropped off in Queen Anne at Elliot Bay Marina. Please be mindful that this evening will be a party and the cocktails will be flowing- make arrangements to get home safely! We suggest Uber/Lyft or carpooling with a designated driver.

Will the events take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be held indoors with access to a private outdoor patio area. The after party will be held on a boat with both indoor and outdoor spaces. While we have all our fingers crossed for a sunny September evening, please be prepared for cooler temperatures when the sun goes down by bringing a light jacket or coat.

The drinks are on us- but the hangover is on you!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by July 31, 2023. If you cannot attend, we will miss you, and appreciate you letting us know at your soonest opportunity. Those that do not RSVP by July 31, 2023- we are so sorry you cannot make it! If you miss this date, we may be unable to accommodate your presence as we will be sending a final headcount to vendors shortly after this deadline.
