The reception will offer a mini buffet containing 5 options of cold and 5 options of hot meals along with appetizers available throughout the party. We will provide more details on food options once they are finalized. There will be an open bar with a few drinks chosen by the couple + natural juices, sodas and Amstel beer will also be offered within the Buffett. A comida da festa sera no estilo mini buffet com porcoes pequenas servidas durante todo o periodo da festa. As bebidas serao Open Bar de alguns drinks selecionados pelo casal, sucos naturais, refrigerantes e cerveja Amstel.

There are 2 airports in Rio De Janiero. We recommend flying into the GIG airport. Guests can arrive anytime prior to the wedding on Thursday. The families plan to arrive in Rio De Janiero the weekend before to do some sightseeing and exploring. Would love to have you join us! Recomendamos aos convidados que cheguem ao Rio de Janeiro, ao menos um dia antes do casamento para evitarem qualquer possivel atraso que possa ocorrer durante a viagem. Os noivos e familiares estarao chegando ao Rio de Janeiro no fim de semana anterior ao casamento. Durante estes dias estaremos explorando a cidade maravilhosa em alguns passeios a ser postados aqui, e no dia anterior ao casamento nos reuniremos com os convidados em um bar/restaurante para dar inicio as festividades. Sera um prazer ter voces conosco!

This is where the couple and family are staying the night before and the night of the wedding. It is located right across the bay from the city Rio De Janiero in the city of Niteroi 20 minutes from the venue. It is centrally located near bars and restaurants.

This is another option for guests to stay in Niteroi for the wedding & welcome drinks. The hotel is 10 minutes from the wedding venue (closest of the three) and is beachfront. Esta e uma outra opcao de hotel em Niteroi. Com piscina e vista para o mar este hotel fica ha cerca de 10 minutos de distancia do local do evento.

Travel Note
Visas
As of April 2025 a travel visa will be required for US citizens to travel to Brazil. supposed to start being required to enter Brazil as of May 2025. The Brazilian Goverment has been postponing the date to make the visa effective but to be on the safe side and make sure you won't have any issue on your travel, it would be best practice to get it by applying online and paying a 80 USD fee (link below). The Visa process is 100% online and valid for 10 years.

A famous beach in Rio with many hotels with nice rooftop bars, a good place to stay if you're planing on arriving prior to the wedding. A famosa praia de Copacabana possui varios hoteis com bares no terraco. Uma boa opcao para se hospedar caso deseje fazer sua visita ao Rio um pouco mais extensa.

Arraial do Cabo is famous for it's beaches with beautiful light blue/ greenish water just a few hours from Rio de Janeiro city.

Pedra Bonita contemplates one of the most beautiful views of the City of Rio de Janeiro. Lots of people go there to hang gliding and paragliding but if you are just looking for a nice uphill hike to see the wonderful city that would probably suit you too.

If we're arriving early, what parts of Rio do you recommend visiting?
Answer
If you plan to arrive early to Rio, we recommend staying in the Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, or Barra da Tijuca areas of the city. We recommend avoiding City Center and Lapa. The couple and family will be staying in Ipanema or Copacabana prior to heading to Niteroi.

How should we communicate?
Answer
The communication is easier there by using WhatsApp. We will be creating a WhatsApp group in Portuguese and English with local friends helping everyone get settled. We recommend all guests download the app and share phone numbers with us prior to departing for beautiful Rio De Janiero.
