Meet us on the Mail Boat!

If you're in town early and would like to join us for some fun, you can meet us for a lovely sunset cruise around Casco Bay on the Portland Mail Boat! The 2.5–3 hour public ferry ride makes stops to deliver mail to the surrounding islands. We’ll have pizza and coolers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, but feel free to bring any food or drinks you might like. The mailboat encourages happy picnics! WHERE: Casco Bay Lines Ferry Terminal, 56 Commercial Street, Portland, ME 04101 WHEN: Thursday, September 18. Meet at the terminal @ 5:15pm. The ferry departs at 5:45pm. TICKETS: Purchase your tickets in person at the terminal. $21/adults. $12/children. ATTIRE: Dress comfortably and bring layers—it can get chilly on the water. We’re so excited to kick off the weekend!

Ceremony

5:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Standing ceremony on the sand at Higgins Beach. Chairs will be available for anyone who would like a seat. Parking is free at the public lot located at 41 Ocean Ave—a flat 5-minute walk to the beach. Drop off on the beach is an easy loop by car for those who would prefer to skip the walk.

Reception

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

~ENDLESS SUMMER VIBES~ as it will, in fact, be the 2nd to last day of summer! Cocktail attire. Dancing shoes. When in Maine, always bring a warm layer.

Buffet style dinner and an open bar.
