A fraternity president and a student athlete walk into a bar... Gabby and John met at Miami University (Love + Honor) in 2014, introduced by mutual friends. Gabby thought John was funny (he isn't). John thought Gabby was cute (she is). After school, the two moved home to Northeast Ohio. There, they put down roots and grew — individually and as a pair. — A decade of dates means we’ve seen each other through so many seasons — learning, changing, stumbling, thriving and growing up in real time. We've loved every version of 'us' so far and simply can't wait for every challenge and triumph as Mr. + Mrs. We'd be honored if you'd join us for this wedding weekend designed to be authentically Jabby (Gohn?) — highlighting the culture in this Cleve-land that we love and our Italian/American heritage.
8:00 pm
Attire: Summer Cocktail
Join us following our rehearsal dinner at one of the East Side's best Italian restaurants. Though we'll have a cash bar and a cookie table, we recommend grabbing food beforehand at any one of the tasty spots along Mayfield Road (see "Things To Do" for our full list of recommendations).

Attire: Black Tie Optional (See FAQ's)
We say "I do." in an outdoor ceremony at the best of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. Please plan to arrive by 3:00 pm (so the ceremony may start promptly at 3:30 pm) and enter the garden off of Parkgate Avenue or Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. As parking is limited, we will be providing a shuttle to and from the ceremony. See FAQ's for transportation details!

Party time! After the museum has closed for the day, we will begin our cocktail hour and reception. Wear your eating pants and dancing shoes.
1:45 pm
If you're local (or catching a later flight) consider joining us for one of our favorite pastimes — 9 innings, a hot dog and a beer (or two) at the corner of Carnegie + Ontario. To keep it casual, we won't be purchasing group tickets for this afternoon game — rather, we'll congregate in SRO. For tickets, copy + paste into browser: bit.ly/RedWedWalk-Off

We're keeping this special day intimate — only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, your invitation will have said "+ guest."
We've decided to keep our wedding adults-only (21+) — a chance for a special date night!
We've reserved rooms at the Glidden House and the Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland University Circle — both within walking distance to our reception! Find the links to our hotel blocks in the 'Getting & Staying Here' section above. If the block is full or no longer active, feel free to reserve via the hotel's main booking portal and let us know — we can add your room to the wedding group manually.
The official dress code is black tie optional — formal tuxedo or a dark suit (+ tie) for men / midi, ankle or floor-length gown for women. Experiment with structure, color, texture, embellishments — we want you to look and feel like a work of art!
Our ceremony is outdoors. Our cocktail hour and reception later in the evening will be held indoors. Keep an eye on the weather and plan accordingly. Guys: Jackets can be removed for the ceremony if it is too warm. Gals: Consider a shawl for the reception if you're easily cold. Umbrellas will be provided for the ceremony in the event of rain.
If you are attending the ceremony, please plan to arrive by 3:00 pm to find your seat. The provided shuttle (see following questions) is your best bet to be on time and stress-free. For the reception, doors to the museum will open at 6:15 pm with first drink served at 6:30 pm.
Parking for the ceremony is limited to the street, but is available below the garden (on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive). For ease, catch the provided shuttle to and from the ceremony (see next question). For the reception, metered street parking is available on East Boulevard and Wade Oval Drive (free after 6:00 pm). The attached museum garage (accessible from Jeptha Drive) is your easiest/safest option for a small fee. If you are staying at a hotel, we recommend valeting your car and dropping your bags pre-ceremony (the desk will hold them if check-in is not yet available) and utilizing the shuttle. If you're coming in for the day, but not staying the night, you might consider parking in the museum garage pre-ceremony and leaving your car there until after the reception. If you find your way to the Glidden House (0.3 mi - 6 min walk), you can hop on the shuttle with our hotel guests for a ride to and from the ceremony. Or Uber everywhere! There should be plenty of drivers in the area.
Yes! A shuttle will run from the hotels to the garden before the ceremony, and back to the hotels after. The shuttle schedule is as follows: TBD TBD A shuttle to the reception will be provided by the Courtyard Marriott. Transportation back to the hotel/home from the reception should be individually arranged.
Totally your call. Thanks in advance for rolling with the gap — it allows us to make the most of our day and spend more time with all of you! If you're staying at a hotel or live nearby, consider taking a load off and/or freshening up before the party. If you haven't checked in yet, this would be a good time to do so. L'Albatros Brasserie & Bar (11401 Bellflower Rd, Cleveland, OH 44106) is a fam favorite for a cocktail. Jolly's Pizza (11310 Juniper Rd Rear, Cleveland, OH 44106) is perfect for a draft beer. Bonus points for location, as these two spots share a backyard with the Glidden House (making them walkable to the reception)! Or check out Historic Little Italy — see 'Things to Do.'
Easier for you is better for us! Please ship any gifts directly to the address preloaded in the registry site — no wrapping required. Or, to keep things simple (+ eco-friendly), consider a contribution toward our new home!
You know us better than that!
Yes! We've planned a few things to keep the whole weekend festive, including Friday night cocktails and a Sunday-afternoon activity. Scroll up to 'Schedule' for full details.
