Our love story began at Pearl Bar. Across a crowded dance floor, we locked eyes and smiled at one another. I offered to buy Gretchen a vodka cranberry, she laughed and ordered us Jameson shots instead. Our first date was a spontaneous one. We decided to grab pizza and then ended up at Axlerad for a movie night event. We ended up not paying attention to the movie and instead we talked for hours about what we enjoyed, our dreams, and everything in between. Time flew by, and before we knew it, we were told to leave because we literally were the last people there at closing time. Fast forward a few years later, after a romantic picnic at the Miller outdoor theater, I took Gretchen to the Centennial Garden for what she thought was just to walk around the gardens. I got down on one knee and I asked Gretchen to be my forever. She giggled, we both cried, and she said yes with no hesitation. We celebrated our engagement over McDonald’s sodies and face timed our close friends and family immediately with the big news. We’ve found in each other a best friend, a confidant, and a partner in all of life’s adventures. Our wedding day is not just about celebrating love; it’s about joining our lives in front of our friends and family. We can’t wait to embark on this beautiful adventure!

We went to the Houston Zoo for our first Zoo Boo. Needless to say, we had a blast! And who doesn't love feeding a giraffe?
We both enjoy the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It has a lot of interesting exhibits, but our favorite is the butterfly exhibit!
We had our first date at Axelrad Beer Garden. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy a few drinks.
Our favorite pizza place in Houston is Bambolino's. We always order the cheese pizza and frozen lemonade.
I proposed to Gretchen at the McGovern Centennial Gardens. We love walking around the garden and going to the top of the waterfall. If you go, be sure to take a walk and enjoy the scenery.
Miller Outdoor Theatre is a great picnic spot. Depending on the day, the theater hosts events that you can enjoy on the hill.
Yes, the drinks are on us, and the hangovers are on you. We have waited a long time for this day, so party accordingly!
We'd like our ceremony to be an "unplugged" event. This means we ask that all phones be put away and turned to silent or off during the ceremony. We've hired a professional photographer to capture the special moments of our wedding day, and we don't want a well-intentioned phone to block the photographer's view. Please feel free to take as many photos as you want after the ceremony, and we promise to share the official photos once we receive them.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.
If you don't RSVP by our deadline, you will be marked as "not attending." This is because we must provide accurate guest counts to our vendors in a timely manner. We hope you understand, and we will miss you if you are unable to celebrate with us!
The ceremony will start promptly at the time stated on your invitation. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself time to park and find a seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony, you will have to wait until the start of cocktail hour. This is to avoid disrupting other guests and the wedding party.
We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code is semi-formal attire.
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
