We mean it when we say that your presence is the greatest gift of all. However, should you wish to honor us with a gesture, we would be grateful for contributions to support our honeymoon adventure to Vietnam and the Philippines. This is entirely optional; your love is more than enough! A brief backstory on our honeymoon decision: Erin's dad always said he wanted to return to Vietnam, a country whose beauty he raved about despite only seeing it in the middle of a war. After his passing in January 2025, we decided to celebrate him by going on that trip for our honeymoon. Along the way, we'll stop to experience the natural beauty and wildlife of the Philippines, a place we had hoped to visit while we lived in Japan last summer but ran out of time.

UPDATE! **On Friday evening between 6-8pm and Sunday morning 10-12pm, join us in the Pere Marquette hotel lounge so we can connect informally and catch up—come by as you please!** Wedding venue parking is available on site. Join us for an evening of great food, art, music, and company! All wedding events will take place in the Preston Jackson Art Gallery, which is located in a beautiful, early 20th century coffee roastery. Guests can enjoy the exhibits on display as well as explore Mr. Jackson's studio which will be open to us throughout the evening. SCHEDULE (Please arrive and be seated by 4:45pm) Ceremony Gallery Exploration Cocktail Hour Dinner Dancing Dinner will be served as a series of hearty, meal-replacement tapas (i.e., small plates) at stations inspired by our many travels together. To ensure a relaxed evening for all, we kindly request that this be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding, and we appreciate you making childcare arrangements in advance.

Flying to Illinois?

Depending upon your origin, Chicago's O'Hare or Midway airports will be available. Both have rental car options. It's about a 2.5 hour drive from Chicago to Peoria. St. Louis is about the same distance. Peoria also has an airport (PIA), but it will likely require a connection in Chicago, and is much more expensive. Peoria's airport also has rental cars. Contact us if you have questions or need advice.

Travel Note

Peoria Charter Coach

Rather than renting a car, Peoria Charter Coach runs from O'Hare and Midway airports to Peoria. It costs about $50 each way. The bus drop off, nearby hotels, and the wedding venue are all in downtown Peoria within a 10 minute walk of each other, along with restaurants, museums, and the waterfront.
