How The Double Wedding Came To Be

Love Stories for the ages...

Once upon a time, Norma and Rod were each others' first love. Life happened and they parted ways for many decades. After both losing the spouses they eventually married, Norma and Rod reconnected a few years ago and picked up right where they left off. They returned to the giddy-in-love youngsters they once were. Danielle and Eric met as many millennials do, on a dating app. The connection, chemistry, and compatibility was instantaneous. They fit like puzzle pieces and have been inseparable since their very first date. Norma and Danielle have always had a strong grandmother-granddaughter relationship. Norma cooked and baked with Danielle, played card games and dollhouse and told the best stories at sleepovers. Danielle also does Norma's hair. One day while Norma was getting her hair done, the conversation turned to Danielle and Eric's recent engagement. Norma mentioned how her and Rod had talked about marriage, but were "too old". Eric and Danielle instantly protested and suggested a double wedding with them. Laughs were shared, the perm was finished, and Norma went home. The next morning, Danielle called Norma and asked how Rod felt about the double wedding suggestion. He was on board, he officially proposed to Norma, and wedding planning began! This is a dream come true for Danielle and Norma. A once-in-many-lifetimes experience that Rod and Eric are more than happy to make reality. To be in the presence of either couple is to witness true love and the double wedding experience will only amplify the love that pours out from them all.
