Doors open at 2:30 PM. Please use the back entrance. We’re asking everyone to join us in being fully present during our ceremony — no phones, photos, or recordings, please. Ashlyn grew up in the same small town as Yin-Si, making their meeting practically inevitable. Although they knew each other distantly at the elementary age — their friendship started strong in middle school over their shared love of music, reading, and anything creative. From shared sodas to late night concerts to adventures across the country — Yin-Si has been an amazing friend to have by Ashlyn’s side. One of her favorite recent memories of the two would be sitting side by side on a driftwood log watching the sunset on a beach in Washington. Ashlyn is the most excited to see her beautiful, creative, and loving friend walk down the aisle to Graehem, the man that it is clear she loves so much. She is so excited to get to be a part of their journey together and help support them on this most special day.

Ella met Yin-Si over 5 years ago working at Katsu-Ya! She also met Graehem there as well. Ella and Yin-Si’s friendship blossomed right away when she started at the restaurant and they were fast friends from then on. They would do dinner, lunch, parties- you name it! Throughout time and when life got tough they leaned on each other for support. Their friendship hit a high point when they dreamed of Yin-Si making Ella’s wedding dress, and when the time came it was perfect! Dress making is a very up-in-your-business experience and the whole process was amazing. What a perfect blend into what Ella loves most about this gal! She is so genuine, caring and attentive to her friends. She pours herself out for people she cares for and Ella counts herself deeply lucky that she’s in that circle. She can’t wait for wedding day and to be part of making Yin-Si’s vision of her day come to life! Every part of weddings is her favorite and she feel so honored to be able to be apart of it with BOTH of them. Ella can’t forget about the incredible man in Yin-Si’s life! Graehem assimilated to the friend group immediately! His kind heart and 1000/10 humor are her favorite qualities he brings to the table (aside from his deep love and care for Yin-Si) Her favorite memory with him is when Yin-Si got the friends together to plan a birthday party for him. The joy on his face through the day sticks in her brain so clearly. 3 words to describe their relationship; Natural, Radiant, Enchanting

Sisters are woven together with threads of memories, milestones, and emotions. Parents might watch their children grow throughout their lifetime, facing all of life’s greatest challenges and rewarding achievements, but a sister is a companion that grows with you in events that mold and shape you into the person you are today. A sister is someone that experiences life alongside you in all of its ups and downs. One of Mae Hlub’s greatest blessings is having a big sister like Yin-Si to venture into life with. Mae Hlub has had the honor of watching Yin-Si turn new pages in her book and step into new chapters of her life. This chapter is one of Mae Hlub’s favorites. To watch her sister fall in love with someone who deeply cares about her has been a joy for Mae Hlub. She is looking forward to seeing her sister’s light shine as she walks down the aisle in the most beautiful wedding gown. Her admiration for the couple has only grown stronger for the last few years. They are inspiring, resilient, and radiant together. And Mae Hlub cannot wait to see all of the beautiful things they will accomplish with each other.

I met Yin-Si about.... 5 or 6 years ago? We both worked with one another at Katsuya! I couldn't really tell you HOW are friendship began but we found ourselves blended in our rag-tag team of friends! We shared common interests like anime, being crafty, and all things whimsy! Graeham joined the katsuya crew and made quite the impression with with dry humor and quck-witted jokes. A few favorite memories I have with Yin-Si would be our anime nights and going to the Renaissance Faire for the first time, even if we got a little messy with the beignets and turkey legs xD We've had many game nights over the past few years, playing DnD and other board games. Once Yin-Si and Graeham started dating, he'd tag along too! These two are both so funny, charismatic, and caring.... I'm so happy they found themselves in this crazy, wild and weird world we live in... I look forward to them tying the knot and having a freaking PAAARRTTAAAAYYY. LOVE YOU GUYS <3

Nicole met Yin-Si in 2019 while they were working at Katsu-ya of Japan. One of her favorite memories with Yin-Si would be wondering the halls at night in Lawrence as Yin-Si worked on her projects, talking long into the night, before getting hungry at 2am and heading over to Perkins where the laughs never stopped. One of the things Nicole loves the most about Yin-Si is her determination. Her strength and resilience to power through difficult times truly has moved Nicole in ways no one else has since.

They share a friendship stretching as far back as middle school. Lunch hours of carefully laying plans for surviving the apocalypse, what they would do in the event of being trapped in an episode of Doctor Who, and debating if ghosts are real filled their younger school days. Yin-Si's sense of humor and creativity always shone through in everything she did. Sierra is proud to have witnessed so much of how Yinsi has grown and changed since they were girls exchanging stories on the playground. On the wedding day she is mostly excited to see the couple come into their own. It will be Sierra's first time meeting Graehem and while she trusts Yin-Si's taste implicitly, she is excited to meet the man himself. She looks forward to seeing her old friend, and hopefully make a new one in Graehem, truly happy. of course, and am very excited to catch up a little in person, but im so curious about the man who made her "yes."

I met Graehem and Yin-Si while working at Katsu Ya about 3 years ago now. My favorite memory with Graehem would be the time when most of the Katsu Ya staff went out for Halloween and Graehem was dressed up as Pitbull and a few Pitbull sounds came on at one of the bars and we we were all dancing with Mr.305 himself. The thing I love most about Graehem is his sense of humor, he makes me laugh all the time and I feel like he gets my sense of humor better than most people so it’s always lots of laughs when we’re together. I have watched Graehem go from single to head over heels for Yin-Si and it’s honestly so amazing to see how much they are meant for each other. Graehem and Yin-Si in 3 words would be, Adorbable, Hilarious and Inspiring Our friendship movie would be called Kitchen Nightmares: Katsu-Ya Edition

Camille is Graehem’s sister, three years his junior. He is Camille’s first and best friend. They’ve experienced every stage of life together, from Nerf gun fights in their neighborhood to first heartbreaks, they’ve always had each other's back. Camille would describe Graehem as one of the funniest people she has ever met (don’t tell him she said that). She is looking forward to having a sister, and for someone else to roll their eyes at Graehem’s jokes. She is excited to see how the couple will continue to grow together through the years. During the wedding, she is most looking forward to seeing her brother's reaction as the bride walks down the aisle.

Graehem and Jared have known each other for half their lives, initially connecting and forming a strong bond through online gaming. Despite their close connection, their first face-to-face meeting was delayed until a landmark summer night in 2022. That's when Graehem made the long drive—13 hours to Virginia—to meet Jared and check out his new place. Naturally, they proceeded to stay up the entire night, cementing their real-life friendship as Jared showed Graehem what people do for fun around his hometown. This remains one of many cherished memories they share. Jared considers Graehem and Yin-Si to be some of his few true friends, always there during life's many ups and downs. Though many miles and state lines exist between them, they are always putting in time and effort to plan trips together, which makes their friendship truly special. Jared is overjoyed to see Graehem and Yin-Si taking this next step and looks forward to continuing to watch the two of them grow together through this new chapter in their lives.

Sometimes people are not brought together of their own choosing but by life circumstances, and sometimes those make the best friends. I couldn't ask for a better soon to be brother in law. Graehem is one of those people where you could do just about anything and have fun while doing it like going to the fire station for a couple of shop beers. Graehem and Yin-Si are a very endearing couple and I can't wait to do life with them.

Matthew is Yin-Si's youngest sibling and only brother. He quickly bonded with Graehem over nerf fights on the farm, followed by long video gaming sessions where Graehem listens intently to him explain the back story of every single player. Mom even allows extra screen time while they are bonding, and he loves to take advantage of it everytime they visit. Matt grew up with 4 sisters that he loves dearly, but he definitely appreciates the brother that Yin-Si has chosen for him! He feels very honored to be a part of their wedding, but is absolutely NOT looking forward to wearing a suit. He insists that if he shows up in his fancy pokemon shirt, Graehem will approve (although his sister will not!) He is very excited for their future together, especially now that they have their own home with an extra room so he can come stay for weeks at a time!
Please RSVP by January 15th so we can finalize our guest list and dinner count.
