Colorado is known for a wide variety of weather that sometimes even surprises the locals! Which is to say it could be a beautiful fall day or an absolute snow fest. Best to bring layers and be prepared for anything.

In January 2021, my roommate invited a friend from her teaching program over. His name was Jordan. They had been texting a bit, and she wanted to see if there could be more between them. I thought it was a great idea. I went into the evening knowing this man was off limits. We all had dinner together. Jordan and I chatted a bit. It was mostly me regaling him with stories of my recent woes (there were many at that point in my life). All the while, I was doing power squats in a new pair of jeans that were just a touch too small. I walked around the house, and he said he didn't think people would be able to tell they were too small by looking at me. I appreciated that. I thought he was funny and kind. Sarcastic and witty.
