The wedding attire for this event is dressy casual and/or semi-formal. Due to this being an outdoor event, shoes for walking on grass are recommended.
The wedding ceremony will begin at 2:00pm, followed by a Mock Tail Hour on the lawn for our guests while the bridal party and family photos are being taken. A reception with refreshments, sweet treats, and dancing will follow the Mock Tail Hour in the reception barn. There will be no assigned seating at the reception to encourage our friends and family to meet and greet each other as we celebrate as one big family. The reception will conclude between 6:00-6:30pm with a wedding send off for the Bride and Groom.

How do I RSVP?

Also, if you have any dietary restrictions that you would like to make us aware of, please mention that when you RSVP.

Running Mare Farm Information and Parking

Running Mare Farm is a privately owned family establishment located at 2200 Sheppard Town Road, Maidens, Virginia 23102. The farm is not visible from the road, so there will be a marker at the end of the driveway indicating the Johnston & Bowen Wedding. Once you travel down the driveway, please look for the parking attendants. Parking attendants will direct you where to park and provide a golf cart shuttle for guests who need this service. If you need to park in a handicap space, please include that in your RSVP, so that we can attempt to reserve for a spot for you. Due to this being a working farm, guests are only permitted on the sites used for the ceremony and the reception.
