We can’t quite believe our wedding day is almost here—mostly because it feels like we’ve already lived a few lifetimes together. We’ve been together for nearly six years, including one year of long distance when Grace moved to Chicago for work and Austin stayed back in New Jersey. There were a lot of flights, calls, and countdowns involved—but it made finally landing in the same place even sweeter. These days, we’re happily living together in Chicago with our two dogs, Arya and Asta, who very much believe this is their house. One of our favorite memories together is a trip to Philadelphia, where we wandered through historic sites, traded fun facts like competitive tour guides, and somehow made history feel romantic. That pretty much sums us up—equal parts curiosity, chaos, and laughing our way through it all. From New Jersey to Chicago, long distance to real life, and everything in between, we found our forever in each other—and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you.

Travel Note
If you’re already in Jersey, congratulations — you’re basically halfway here. A quick drive down the Parkway or a ride on the North Jersey Coast Line and you’ll be living your best Shore life before you know it. Easy, breezy, Garden-State-squeezy.
Travel Note
Coming from NYC? Escape the sirens and sidewalk rage by hopping on NJ TRANSIT’s North Jersey Coast Line from Penn Station. It’ll whisk you straight to Long Branch without needing to fight for parking or your sanity.
Travel Note
If you’re flying in, you’re the real MVPs. Newark (EWR) is your best bet — land, grab a car (or a Dunkin’), and you’ll be at the Shore faster than you can say ‘Where’s my luggage?’ Philly and JFK work too, if you like a little thrill with your travel. Either way, once you touch down, paradise (aka Long Branch) is just a quick cruise away.

Cocktail attire — think polished, fun, and ready to celebrate. Save the costumes for the Halloween after-party (where they’re required!).
Outdoors, weather permitting! We’ll be seaside, so expect gorgeous views and a light breeze. If Mother Nature acts up, we’ve got a backup plan indoors.
Late October at the Jersey Shore is crisp and cozy — usually 55–65° during the day and cooler at night. Bring a jacket, and prepare to feel very fall-romantic.
Yes! There’s plenty of parking at the venue and nearby.
We’ll be providing shuttles to and from all major events so you can celebrate freely and not worry about navigating the Shore after a few drinks. We will also be offering a shuttle from the Asbury Hotel to the venue. Exact pickup times and locations will be shared closer to the date.
As much as we love your littles, this celebration is adults-only. Think of it as a night off — you deserve it.
If your invitation specifies that you have a plus-one, then please feel free to bring them. Alternatively, if you've discussed having a plus-one with Grace Tanner, that's also fine. However, if neither of those situations applies to you, we appreciate your understanding as we are keeping the gathering intimate to accommodate the space and the bar.
Please RSVP by October 17 so we can finalize headcounts, food, shuttles, and all the fun details.

Maid of Honor
Favorite Halloween Candy: Nerds Gummy Clusters Grace and I met playing sports in elementary school and became best friends in sixth grade. From toilet paper gag gifts to way too many stripes in Grace’s wardrobe to Girl Scouts, we knew we had a friendship that would last. Trying to pick one memory with Grace is tough, but I would have to say our drives to work at Girl Scout camp. Nothing like starting your day with Grace!
Best Man
Favorite Halloween Candy: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Austin is my cousin, and I have known him my entire life. My best memories with Austin are from our annual vacations to New Hampshire, where we used to make action movies growing up. He is my closest friend and always makes me smile and laugh whenever we are together.
Bridesmaid
Favorite Halloween Candy: Anything gummy Grace and I go way back to middle school, where we formed an inseparable duo as the only girls in our class. From the very beginning, our shared love for videography turned us into amateur filmmakers, whipping up hilarious skits and videos before school. Talk about a creative start. Our friendship blossomed over FaceTime marathons that could easily rival any Netflix series—four hours of gossip and laughter! Grace has a talent for comedic relief that never fails to brighten my day, and I absolutely adore her for being unapologetically herself. With Grace by my side, every moment is guaranteed to be fun!
Groomsman
Favorite Halloween Candy: Snickers and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Austin and I met around seventh grade in our hometown but grew a lot closer in high school when we started acting together in school shows. We spent plenty of time driving around or sitting in driveways, singing and talking about our lives in his old sedan, and our friendship grew from there. It’s hard to pick one favorite moment, but any of the times we spent at Austin’s family’s lake house are some of our best memories.
Bridesmaid
Favorite Halloween Candy: Lifesaver Gummies I first met Grace at Meadowbrook Day Camp when we were both counselors. We were in the same orientation group, and during lunch I asked her if she liked the grapes on the table. We have been friends ever since. My favorite memory with Grace is our yearly Old Mill restaurant debriefs.
Groomsman
Favorite Halloween Candy: Twix We first met through work, but at the start it was all over Teams—basically a modern-day pen pal situation where we messaged each other every day. We bonded over all kinds of nerdy stuff, to the point where I’m sure Grace was getting jealous. Kind of like the old State Farm commercial: “Who are you talking to?” “…It’s Manny from Evergreen.” Once I finally went back to a hybrid schedule and met him in person, the back-room boys became inseparable. One of my favorite memories is when a group of us came over for drinks and games like we were all still 21 and could drink bottles upon bottles of liquor. A lot of core memories were made that night… and that’s probably all the details needed to keep it family-friendly.
Bridesmaid
Favorite Halloween Candy: Twix Grace and I met while working at Havas Formula. We initially bonded over a mutual love for SpongeBob and drastically different opinions of what’s actually “cold” (to Grace, anything below 65 is cold!). My favorite memory with Grace was when I got to visit her in Chicago! After talking about Cheesies for three years, she FINALLY took me to Cheesies—not once, but twice! I also got to meet Austin, Arya, and Asta for the first time during this trip.
Groomsman
Favorite Halloween Candy: Banana Laffy Taffy Austin and I met as two young hotshots in the insurance sales scene. Unfortunately, we were both bad at that, but along the way discovered a mutual passion for doing accents in D&D. From that, a true bond was forged.
Bridesmaid
Favorite Halloween Candy: Kit Kat Grace and I met through work, where she went from being my trainer to the Shego to my Kim. Each day, I looked forward to getting my daily Teams message from her asking me what socks I’m wearing, typically followed by a call to talk scheduling—or anything under the sun. Work (and my life!) really wouldn’t be the same without Grace—we’re (almost) one and the same. One of my core memories with Grace (so far!) is when we finally held hands and skipped when she and her mom, Sera, came to LA for their Gilmore Girls Gals Trip! Most people would be scared to meet their online friend, but she was exactly who I thought she would be—and more.
Groomsman
Favorite Halloween Candy: Full-size Hershey’s Chocolate Bar Austin and I first met when we were both part of the stage crew in our high school’s production of Bye Bye Birdie. Many musicals, plays, and D&D sessions later (along with a few Rita’s Runs), Austin and I have remained steadfast friends. The distance between us—which might make maintaining a friendship difficult—is supported by sending each other stupid memes on Instagram. I have a lot of great memories with Austin, but nothing can beat the memory of him toting a boombox on his shoulder and strutting through the high school blasting music after our spirit day assembly. I remember some people were annoyed, and others were impressed by his confidence. I thought it was really cool.
