Travel

At this time, we are choosing NOT to have a hotel block. We do have a discounted rate code for The Forth Hotel, linked below, but we encourage you to book now, because rates will continue to increase and room availability is not guaranteed! Any hotel in Midtown Atlanta will be convenient.

Hotel

FORTH Hotel

800 Rankin Street Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30308

This is where our reception will be, and where many in the bridal party will be staying. This Hotel has a great rooftop bar called Moonlight (reservation only), a steakhouse, coffee shop and bar, and a Mediterranean restaurant! Discount code is linked!

Hotel

Hotel Clermont

This is Sarah's mom's favorite! Very close by with rich history and a fun rooftop bar!

Things To Do

We are so excited to welcome you to Atlanta! If you are from out of town, and want to walk to as many places as possible, finding activities along the Beltline will be the best way to experience the city without a car. In one direction is Inman Park and Krog Street Market and in the other direction is Ponce City Market and Piedmont Park. We will list our favorite recommendations across the city and put a star next to the ones with Beltline access! If you walk towards Piedmont Park- always very lively with lots of activity and dogs (on leashes!) you will find The Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and some pickleball and tennis courts. Near Piedmont Park is a great patio and wine bar called Larakin, a great spot to land for an afternoon if the weather is nice. If you want to keep on walking, you could walk allll the way to The High Museum, we love it there, and Bobby has a season pass. Please reach out with additional questions or if you are in need of special recommendations.

*Emerald City Bagels

665 Auburn Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30312

This is a fun and delicious bagel shop on the Beltline! Self-proclaimed NYC style bagels in Atlanta!

Kinship Butcher & Sundry

1019 Virginia Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30306

We come here often after a morning at Highland Yoga. The breakfast sandwich is amazing and so are the specialty coffee drinks. We came here the morning we got engaged, and this is where Sarah knew things were truly "in motion".

*Little Tart Bakeshop

68 Georgia Avenue Southeast, Atlanta, GA 30312

One of our favorite bakeries! This one has several locations. Our favorite is Georgia Ave in Summerhill or Memorial Dr, but the Krog Street Location is in a food hall that has beltline access! ***

*Muchacho

904 Memorial Drive Southeast, Atlanta, GA 30316

A further walk down the beltline, but very fun coffee, breakfast tacos, and lunch.

Fishmonger

674 North Highland Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30306

One of our favorites for casual, but interesting and elevated seafood!

Inner Voice Brewing

308 West Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur, GA 30030

We had our first date at this brewery, and now the owners are our next door neighbors! They share a space with Glide Pizza, so you can drive to get a pizza and a beer and check out Decatur Square. There are so many fun spots in Decatur that are worth visiting. The list is getting too long, so I won't link things individually, but if you spent the afternoon in Decatur, other restaurants to check out are Brick Store Pub, Leon's, Chai Pani, Taqueria del Sol, Victory Sandwich Bar, and Kimball House-if you are wanting something a little fancier. There are some parks and pickleball courts close by as well!

*Rina

699 Ponce De Leon Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30308

Very yummy and modern middle eastern food on the Beltline! They have indoor seating and a nice patio. Walking distance to the Forth Hotel and across the beltline from Ponce City Market.

Buteco

1039 Grant Street Southeast, Atlanta, GA 30315

For my Brazilian family, I wouldn't say this is the most authentic place in the world, but they have Brazilian coffee and cocktails, pao de queijo, yuca, and a Latin taco truck. Also, one of my very favorite fish tacos in Atlanta.

*Bully Boy

828 Ralph McGill Boulevard Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30306

A sushi and Korean Bar located on the Beltline! You may not have a need for dinner over the weekend, but if you come early, or stay late, it's the perfect option.

*Burle's Bar

505 North Angier Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30308

Named after a Brazilian architect, this chic cocktail bar is connected to a plant shop and couln't be closer to the venue! Just walk up the stairs across the street and you'll be there.

*Superica

99 Krog Street Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30307

A cult classic, this is our favorite Tex-Mex. They even have a Bob Armstrong dip, but years ago had to change the name ;). We recommend the Superita, otherwise known as a Mexican Martini!

Our first photo together! This was at Cody and Chelsea's wedding in April 2022
First Rosemary Beach trip with our friends in May of 2022 for Bobby's birthday!
A trip to Boston with my family in August of 2022 for Lydia and Stephen's engagement party! We also had a family reunion of sorts with my uncles in Boston.
Thanksgiving 2022 with the Valentines. This was very shortly before my ACL surgery.
Paris 2023 for Lydia and Stephen's wedding! This photo was at the Rodin museum, our favorite spot!
September 2024-Bobby's first trip to Crested Butte! I thought we may be getting engaged here-but Bobby had other plans!
Durango, Colorado in January 2023, right before we celebrated our 1 year anniversary

Registry

Your presence is more than enough, but if you would like to peruse our registry, here it is! Some of these items are more durable upgrades to things we already have, and some are truly luxuries that we by no means expect. Thank you for looking and thank you for any and all generosity toward our lives together.
