1 Corinthians 13:4-8

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails”

FAQs

Question

Can I bring a guest with me?

Answer

We have been blessed enough to be able to accommodate up to 150 people, since we are not having a formal reception. You are welcomed to bring a plus one, but please let us know, so we can add them to the guest list by the rsvp deadline, so our caterers can plan accordingly.

Question

What’s the attire?

Answer

We are requesting that guests wear semi formal attire. But you are welcomed to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Please note, we will be having an outdoor “reception” and the weather is likely to be in the low 50s. Sweaters are suggested.

Question

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Our wedding colors are ivory, taupe, olive green, sage green & brown.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Please park in the paved parking lot and the grass area to the left of the church building, unless there are no spaces available. We will be using the field directly in front of the church for yard games and photos.

Question

What if I’m running late?

Answer

We highly encourage everyone to be in their seat as early as possible, but we do understand things happen. The church doors will closing 5 minutes before the ceremony begins, to prevent interruptions. If you arrive and the doors are closed, please wait until after the bridal party has made it down the aisle to enter the building.

Question

Do I have to bring a gift?

Answer

Your love and support is the best gift that you can offer. Gifts are certainly not required, but if you choose celebrate us with a gift, we are so grateful no matter how small.

Question

What’s on the menu?

Answer

Since we are having an afternoon wedding, we made the decision to ditch the formal plated dinner and celebrate in an untraditional way. We will be serving some of our favorite finger foods, mocktails and sweets.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

As much as we love little ones, we would prefer if this day was adults only. However, we do understand that things come up and childcare can be hard to find. If possible please let us know in advanced if you need to bring your children, so we can plan accordingly.
