From Gloria's perspective: Cole and I met through an online dating app in December 2025. After a couple days of chatting online, on December 12th, he made the first move to ask me to dinner in Mount Vernon, Ohio at a pizza place. While any first date is a little awkward with a little small talk, our conversation shifted from being direct about what we were looking for then to the fun weird questions. It was in asking what his favorite animal was that I got to see Cole's fun side. And at the end of the night when he gave me flowers, I really liked his sweetness and intentionality. And He really liked how direct my personality was. Over the next few weeks, we hung out a few more times, had those deeper conversations and brought some friends into the mix. On December 31st, Cole officially asked me to be his girlfriend. I, of course, said yes. By March 12th, I thought we were hanging out to look at potential houses and a nice evening of pizza. But Cole knew better. He made our 3 month-iversary so special by asking me to marry him. I, of course said yes. Maybe it was because we were older, but our whole relationship has had that direct intention towards a marriage centered in our faith and early on we both knew that we were heading that way together. Since then, our short story has developed into a deep love for one another and an excitement to do life fully together. Our story is short for now but we both know that it's a story that started rich in laughter, in love, and in a faith in God. And our story will one day be a lifelong story of the same richness. From Cole's Perspective: I thought she was really great, so I asked her to marry me.
