Once we send out invitations, a QR code can be scanned and will take you directly to the 'RSVP' page. Then type the name(s) listed on your envelope. Kindly RSVP by August 16th 2025. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as a 'no' as we will be sending final headcounts to our vendors shortly after this deadline-- you will be missed!
As the venue is in downtown Grand Rapids, there are tons of hotels within walking distance to choose from! The reception venue itself is located conveniently within a boutique hotel called City Flats Hotel. However, we also recommend checking out Residence Inn, Homewood Suites (downtown) and JW Marriott.
Yes, there is complimentary guest parking at the front of the church off of Sheldon Ave and Maple St. For the reception, there are several parking garages within walking distance or park at your hotel and carpool if possible!
Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your invitation. For example, your envelope would list "(your name) & guest". For families, it will list "(your name) & Family" or "The (your last name) Family". When you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.
Yes! We love all your little ones, and our big night would not be the same without them. However, due to venue capacity, if your invitation does not specifically include them, please join us for a date night instead!!
Yes! The dress code is formal therefore, please come dressed in your evening best and get fancy with us. No jeans please, shorts or cowboy boots dad haha! We also kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride-- white or ivory. Lastly, our bridal party will be dressed in burgundy, gold, and cream/blush, just in case you don't want to blend in!
Both will be held indoors with photo opportunities outdoors after the church ceremony.
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 2:00pm. We recommend that guests arrive 15-20 minutes early to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, please wait until the conclusion of the ceremony to avoid distraction. Don't worry, we would still love to see you at the reception. Thank you for understanding!
The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please; however please allow the immediate family to occupy the first few aisles. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner).
