Our story began in high school, where fate brought us together in the most unexpected ways. We met through our shared love of track and Japanese class, but it wasn’t just the subjects that sparked a connection. It was the little moments that made all the difference. I remember waiting outside his classroom, hoping he’d see me and think it was just by chance. It was my way of getting his attention, and, of course, he always did. Little did we know, these small moments were the beginning of something truly special. It’s funny to think back on how his dad was my driving instructor. Our worlds were already so intertwined, and the universe seemed to be pushing us together, even before we realized it. From track meets to late-night study sessions, we became inseparable, and before long, we were more than just classmates and friends—we were each other’s first love. We made unforgettable memories, from prom night, where we danced like no one was watching, to navigating the challenges of long-distance during college. Though miles apart, our love never wavered. Instead, it grew stronger with each passing day. After six incredible years together, filled with laughter, adventures, and unconditional love, he asked me the most beautiful question, and we began our next chapter. Now, as we prepare to say "I do," we reflect on our journey—from high school sweethearts to partners for life—and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
