Gigi and JJ met at Marin Catholic High School (go Cats!) and were friends until senior year when JJ asked Gigi on a date (which happened to be on Bob Galliani's birthday), officially breaking out of the friend zone (go jayge)! They immediately connected through their aligned values, imaginations, humor, and matching names. With Gigi shipping out to Kansas and JJ heading to Southern California, they mutually agreed it would be best to focus on school and exploring the world with the understanding that perhaps someday in the distant future their paths might cross again. Twelve years later, JJ was on one knee at Muir Beach asking Gigi to marry him (which happened to be on Mara Galliani's birthday). Funny how things work out in the end!
