It was spring semester of 2014 and they had both enrolled in the same psychology class. Being that neither one had the greatest of vision, they both had to sit in the very front if they had any hope of passing the course. Dulce always got to class early to make sure she got the first seat, so Gerardo always ended up with the second. One of the semester projects was to do volunteer work at the local homeless shelter. Of course, the two got the pleasure of being paired up together. Gerardo loves to tell everyone that this was their first date. After the “date”, Gerardo invited Dulce for lunch at Eddies’s Pizza. Luckily for him not only was she starving, but that happened to be her favorite restaurant. They would be eating there for years to come. From that point forward, they texted everyday and regularly spent time together. In June of 2022 he proposed. In August of that same year, they welcomed their beautiful baby boy Gerardo Jr. They were now a family of four. Gerardo, Dulce, Josh, and Gerardo Jr. The affection his little brother has for him speaks volumes about how great of a big brother Josh has been from day one. They have spent the last 11 years creating countless wonderful memories together and will now have the pleasure of calling each other husband and wife.
