About our Party
Step right up, step right up!
The world may have gone mad, but we're madly in love, and we'd love to madly celebrate our marriage with you!
Join us for a wedding the likes of which ye have never seen.
There WILL be: dancing, costumes, games, music, delicious food, maybe some juggling, definitely some silliness, and a whole lot of fun.
There WON'T be: a sit-down
dinner, a bowtie in sight (except on Kenny), or a formal wedding ceremony - we'll already be legally married!!
Dress up if you feel comfortable. We'd love to see a shark, a banana, a dinosaur etc., in addition to all the clowns and mimes! Bring a change of clothes for later, if you feel like ditching your costume.

Beach BBQ
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
A delightfully mellow beach BBQ in the sun to wind down after the previous day's festivities. Weather dependent, but we'll sort out a plan B if it's shocking. Meet at the Ocean View Rd carpark, next to Brighton Reserve. Food provided, BYO drinks.
Where to stay
We'd recommend staying somewhere in Waihi Beach, Athenree, or Bowentown. There are AirBnB's, the Waihi Beach Hotel, holiday parks and campgrounds. It's best to book ASAP - Waihi Beach gets hectic in February!
There is no Uber in Waihi Beach, so plan ahead for transport on the day of our party. There are two taxi companies - Kate's Kabs and Mags Cabs - and you need to pre-book with them (small town tings).
Costume ideas
Dress as madly as you feel. It's the circus, so anything goes. There may be spot prizes for the best dressed...
