How We Met
We met in Las Vegas in 2023 during a work trip—two tech journalists running around the Consumer Electronics Show chasing the newest gadgets and innovations. At the time, we even worked for the same outlet, Laptop Magazine, but lived on opposite sides of the Atlantic: Jason in England and Kim in New York. And yet, somehow, in the middle of Nevada, we found each other. What started as late-night chats between two fast friends slowly turned into something a lot more electric than either of us expected.

Nautical Mile, located in Freeport, Long Island, features a long strip of lounges, restaurants, and clubs alongside the stunning Woodcleft Canal. Jason and I love this place as it feels as if you've been transported to a tropical location, especially when you visit in the summer.
Oheka Castle
Oheka Castle is the second-largest private mansion in the US and sits in the heart of Long Island’s historic Gold Coast: the very world that inspired "The Great Gatsby." With its grand architecture and sweeping gardens, it feels like stepping straight into the era of lavish parties and old-world glamour Fitzgerald wrote about. Fun fact: Taylor Swift filmed her “Blank Space” music video here, and the estate has also appeared in HBO’s Succession.

If you like quirky spots, Kim is a big fan of Witches Brew, which is known for its cozy, spooky atmosphere, eclectic decor, creative coffee drinks, and indulgent desserts—the perfect place to relax with dessert or a late-night cappuccino.

A ✨glamorous✨ black-tie affair. The beautiful ladies should wear floor-length evening gowns, and the handsome gentlemen should wear tuxedos or formal suits. Think luxurious and elegant. This is a dress-to-impress evening.

Nope. Feel free to wear whatever color you want, but ladies must wear glamorous evening gowns and men shall be adorned in their sharpest suits or tuxedos.

Ask either the bride or groom for a plus one. We've reserved some seats for plus ones, so ask while they're available! They will go quickly.

No, it's going to be short, touching, and sweet with a stunning outdoor backdrop.

Guests will be whisked away to a beautiful poolside cocktail hour with carefully curated food picked by the bride and groom. Following this will be the reception where we'll get to celebrate the night way.
