Ceremony

We are asking our guests to show off their best formal attire preferably in jewel tones. Please remember to type your email in for your RSVP confirmation as this will help us to keep in touch with you about updates and possible changes.

We suggest guests arrive 15-30 minutes early to park and get settled before the ceremony begins. St. Helena's historic chapel is wheelchair accessible, and parking is available in several locations. More specific information regarding parking will be available soon. Formal attire is requested, and in that spirit we are asking please no denim. Jewel tones and floor length dresses are encouraged, and as a reminder February in Texas can be chilly, so please plan accordingly. We don't feel this really needs to be said but please don't wear white, as that color is reserved for the bride.

Cocktail Hour & Dinner

Please feel free to wear your ceremony attire to the reception as well; we do recommend jackets and footwear suited to the outdoors.

Elm Pass woods is an outdoor venue with a beautiful pavilion and modern amenities. There is a short unpaved walk from the parking lot, if you feel this will be a challenge for you we're more than happy to accommodate a drop off via your own vehicle or via golf cart. Small fire pits and heaters will be scattered throughout the venue in the event of a chilly day. Appetizers and drinks will be available throughout the cocktail hour for guests to enjoy while they await the arrival of the Bride and Groom. Once the guests of honor arrive the festivities will begin in earnest and a buffet style dinner will be served. Children are welcome and small games and entertainment will be provided. Children must be supervised at all times. While the Groom was an EMT we don't want to show off that particular skill set on our wedding day! The dinner menu is not yet finalized, but please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.
