This will be a welcome party/rehearsal dinner! It will be a poolside BBQ. There will be an appetizer buffet with Italian staples and homemade bread, as well as plenty of meat options from the grill!

Getting to the Villa
There are a couple of ways to get to the Villa. The most cost effective is by train. The Manziana-Canale Monterano train station is only about a 5 minute walk from the Villa (keep in mind, there is a little climb, so consider your luggage as well). To reach Manziana-Canale Monterano by train is about a 1.5 hour trip. You can leave directly from the airport (FCO), or if you choose to explore the city of Rome prior to heading to the Villa, there are train stations in the city you can also depart from. Leaving from the airport directly will cost ~$15 per person. Leaving from the train stations in the city will cost ~$4 per person. To book, Trainline is a very simple, user-friendly app where you can book your tickets in advance. The venue does offer a private shuttle service, however it is a pricier. They will pick you up from the airport and drive directly to the venue. The trip takes about 50 minutes - 1 hour and the cost is €300 for 4 people and 4 standard checked bags. Where do I stay?
Answer
The venue is also our own private hotel! Accommodations will be provided for 5 days and 4 nights, with check in at 4 pm on 6/18/2026 and checkout promptly at 11 am on 6/22/2026.

Where is the venue and how do I get there?
Answer
The venue is located outside the city of Rome, Italy. It is approximately a 1 hour drive by rental car, or a 1-2 hour train ride. Transportation is not provided by the venue, but don’t worry, we can assist you with arranging whatever mode you prefer! Please see the “Travel” page for more details!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Can I extend the trip for vacation?

We don’t blame you for wanting to stay longer! We have provided accommodation for the above days listed. Please note further accommodations are not provided, and all guests must check out of the venue by 11 am on June 22nd.

My flight to Rome arrives in the morning, can I check in early to Villa Clodia?
Answer
Villa Clodia check in time is 4pm. However, if your flight arrives to Rome early in the morning, take advantage of it and spend the afternoon in the city! There are many luggage storage businesses throughout the city where you can drop off your luggage and walk around Rome freely. Just google “Luggage Storage in Rome” and there are many businesses that will pop up!
