Wedding Ceremony

Mount Baker Highway, Deming, WA 98244
We will meet in the parking lot at the end of Mount Baker Highway at 2 PM, walk to our destination and start ceremony by 2:30 PM. Guest pictures will take place after the ceremony ends so please stick around! The drive is about an hour and a half, maybe more depending on tourist traffic. Feel free to come early to enjoy the views, weather permitting.
Reception
5:00 pm
Two menu cocktails, house wines, draft beer, and N/A drinks will be bottomless. We will be having a buffet of chicken, potatoes and mac and cheese for dinner. Location of event will be on the second floor of Bantam.

Chicago to Seattle
You can choose where to fly out of, but I have researched the cheapest flights and those are either out of Chicago or Minneapolis. It will be cheapest to fly into Seattle, but then you will have to drive about 1 hour and 40 minutes to Bellingham. There are rental cars at the airport. Feel free to download the hopper app to look for cheapest flights and to watch for price drops!

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
To help us out with planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However the deadline is July 21st 2025. If you cannot make it, please RSVP "no." Just remember, if you plan to come you will have to find your flights for yourself. It is better to prepare as early as possible.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We would love for you to dress up with us as we will be taking photos together. We are requesting a semi-formal dress code of earth tone colors. There is a picture of colors we would prefer sent with our invitations to make things easier. Feel free to reach out to Kylee for help as well. For males, dress pants and a nice dress shirt is fine! For females, preferably dresses or jumpsuits.

Where is the ceremony?

The ceremony will take place near Artist Point trailhead 1.5 hours from Bellingham. There are a few options of handicap accessible trails for those who cannot hike. Feel free to bring a wheelchair or any other assistive device if needed as there will be some walking.

First off, thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Oxford Suites in Bellingham for 2 nights on August 20th and 21st under Van Landuyt/Gardner wedding block! We plan to pay for one of those nights. So far I have estimated how many rooms we will need, but can always add more if needed! We hope RSVPing early will help us narrow this down. Feel free to call the hotel at 360-676-1400 to reserve your block!

Do I need a pass to get into the ceremony destination?
Answer
Yes, you'll need a day pass to park at Artist Point, which you can buy online or at the ranger station in Glacier, Washington. To save money, plan to carpool with other guests!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Please be present with us during the ceremony and put your phones down. Photos are welcome at any other time within the day.
