How We Met
It all began after Julie took a leap of faith and moved from Massachusetts to Nashville, Tennessee in October of 2018. The two met through mutual friends for the first time at the one and only Valentine on Broadway shortly after Julie's relocation. In the spring of 2019, once Parker came home from tour, the two started spending nights with friends at the infamous Flamingo Cocktail Club and the rest was history!

Come hang with us the night before and have a drink, all are welcome! The Back Corner is a separate event venue located in Germantown behind the restaurant 5th and Taylor. You can enter the event space directly via the access door next to the dedicated 5th and Taylor parking lot, or you can enter through the restaurant's front door and ask for directions. There is also street parking available in front of the restaurant, but the 5th and Taylor parking lot is the closest parking option to the venue.

Below are some suggested areas for rentals. -12 South/Hillsboro Village/West End/Wedgewood Houston (closer to downtown Nashville, Ubers/Lyfts readily available) -Franklin/Cool Springs (closer to venue, ~30mins outside of Nashville proper, Ubers/Lyfts available but less plentiful than downtown) -Brentwood (great happy-medium, ~10mins to downtown, ~25mins to venue, hotel block and wedding shuttle is here)

TRANSPORTATION
There is ample parking at the venue for those wanting to drive. Please note cars CANNOT be left overnight at the venue. Ubers/Lyfts are also available out to Franklin and back. We do recommend scheduling your return Uber/Lyft in advance if you do decide to go that route. We want everyone to stay safe, so please plan accordingly! *A shuttle will be provided for guests from the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Brentwood room block to and from the venue.* Guests not staying at the hotel block are welcome to drive or take an Uber/Lyft to the hotel and then hop on the provided transportation out to Franklin. Shuttle leaves promptly at 3:30pm.

This is not mandatory but an option to help with transport out to the venue. Southall Meadows is a bit out there, but we promise it's worth the drive. The shuttle will depart promptly at 3:30pm, so please plan to arrive to the pick-up location by 3:15pm. There will be two return rides at 9:30pm and then 10:30pm.

Broadway
Broadway is Broadway, but you gotta go! Check out the rooftop bars at Jason Aldean's, Acme, and Kid Rock's. We also enjoy Tootsie's and the upstairs back bar at Roberts. If you're looking for a more "old school" bar that happens to have a mechanical bull, go to Wild Beaver Saloon. *When* you get hungry while bopping around the bars, there is Assembly Food Hall right on Broadway with tons of different high-quality food options! Most of the vendors in here have restaurants across Nashville.
12 South
We love walking around this cute area full of shops and restaurants. Some of our favorites are the Bartaco patio, Five Daughters Bakery for donuts, Postino 12 South for bruschetta boards, Edley's for bbq and Frothy Monkey for coffee. At the bottom of the street is Sevier Park which also lovely to stroll in or relax.
Belmont-Hillsboro
Hillsboro Village is another great strip to walk around and check out shops. If you can, grab breakfast at the Pancake Pantry (don't by intimidated by the line, it moves super fast, and yes it's that good!). This area is adjacent to Belmont (Parker's alma mater!) and Vanderbilt's campuses, as well as Vanderbilt University Medical Center, if you want to walk and check those spots out as well!
Downtown Franklin
If you are staying closer to the venue, we suggest walking around downtown Franklin and checking out all the shops! Lot's of cute restaurants in this area including Merridee's Breadbasket, JJ's Wine Bar, 55 South, Red Pony, GRAYS on Main, Culaccino, Puckett's, and Cork & Cow to recommend a few. Free parking in the garage! Another spot to shop & eat is The Factory in Franklin, located just a few minutes from downtown.
The Gulch
The Gulch is home to Julie's first Nashville apartment and the famous Nashville "What Lifts You Wings" mural! Some restaurant highlights include Milk & Honey, The Mockingbird, Saint Anejo, Superica, and Adele's. More shopping! The best classy vibe rooftop bars: L.A. Jackson*, lou/na, Bobby Hotel, Noelle

When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive by 4:15. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30. If you are taking the shuttle from the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Brentwood, please ensure you arrive at the hotel in time for the 3:30pm departure, as the shuttle will not wait for those arriving at the hotel late.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is a free parking lot at Southall Meadows, which will serve as both the ceremony and reception location. Please follow signage down the gravel drive , as the venue is situated just off the main road. Remember, guests CANNOT leave cars overnight at the venue and there is a shuttle option from the room block.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal attire with fall floral-inspired colors. We will be taking a brief stroll out to the meadow for the ceremony, so keep in mind stilettos may sink in the grass. Most importantly, we want you to be comfortable and feel your best!
