How We Met
On May 3rd, 2024 Gaby was convinced by her Maid of Honor, Lindsey to go out for a night of fun in downtown Fredericksburg. Unknown to her, Lindsey and Paige, their good friend and Joey’s former teammate, informed Joey that one of their single friends would be attending, and he should plan to go out with them. He accepted, and on arrival to Brock’s Riverside Bar & Grill, the group strategically sat at a table to make sure Gaby would sit next to Joey. By the end of the night, after spending much of the time talking with Gaby, Joey secured her number and went on their first date a few days later.

Alec and Joey met freshman year at the University of Mary Washington, where they were neighbors in Russell Hall. What started as a hall friendship quickly turned into a lasting bond that has only grown stronger over the years. Living together during their senior year brought them even closer, and Alec has been a constant in Joey’s life ever since. It’s only fitting that he stands by Joey’s side as his best man.

Maid of Honor
Lindsey and Gaby met while working in social services, where they quickly became close. From the start, Lindsey was more than just a coworker, she became one of Gaby’s closest friends. She also played a special role in Gaby’s love story by introducing her to Joey, making her part of it from the very beginning. Lindsey has been by Gaby’s side through so many moments in life, which makes it all the more meaningful that she stands next to her as Maid of Honor.
Tucker Gorski
Groomsman
Joey met Tucker during his freshman year of college while they were trying to find the classroom for their first class. After sitting next to each other for every freshman business class, the two quickly sparked a long lasting friendship. From being suite mates their sophomore year to sharing countless drinks over the years, Joey is proud to have Tucker stand as a groomsman during the happiest day of his life.

Kaya and Gaby met in college through Alpha Phi at George Mason, when Kaya became Gaby’s little in “Fab Fam.” From the very beginning, their connection was special, and living together during Gaby’s senior year brought them even closer. Kaya has stood by Gaby through so many moments in life, making her not just a little, but truly one of her best friends, and now, one of her bridesmaids on her wedding day.

Groomsman
Joey was introduced to Ian by a few college friends who were living at an off-campus house, but their friendship developed more as the group started playing DnD together. The two have exchanged plenty of laughs and good times, and still enjoy playing board games living in Richmond.
Sophie Wagner
Bridesmaid
Sophie and Gaby met in college through Alpha Phi, when Sophie became part of “Fab Fam” as Kaya’s little and Gaby’s G-little. From that moment on, Sophie wasn’t just part of the family. She became one of Gaby’s closest friends. Since then, their friendship has been filled with constant support, laughter, and so many special moments that mean the world to Gaby.
Nick Nammack
Groomsman
Nick and Joey met during a party their sophomore year, but their friendship really started to develop virtually during quarantine. The two share the same interests in video games, history, DnD and somehow share the same humor. Nick has been there for many important moments in Joey’s life, and even was the first friend to meet Gaby. Joey is excited to have Nick as a groomsman.

Our professional photographer will capture all the special moments for us to treasure. However, we'd love for you to snap away during the reception—it's the perfect time to document the celebration with us!
