We want you to dress and feel your best, and to have fun with it. Think colorful, groovy black tie. (Just don't wear all-white or dark emerald green, please 🤍💚). See the Attire section above for more information.

As much as we love your little kiddos, this is an adult-only celebration, and we ask that you leave them at home.

Please check your invite to see if you have a +1. If your invite doesn't have a +1 and you would like to bring someone, please reach out to Gabrielle to ask if it is okay so that she can make sure there is enough food available.

Will there be an open bar?

YES! There will be a bartender with a variety of mixed-drink choices along with the bride & groom's signatures. We will also have beer, wine, seltzers, and NA drink options available. If we run out, we might just send one of you to the corner store 😉

Are there accommodations for after the celebration?

Answer

If you're interested in getting a nearby hotel, there is a Holiday Inn Express in Hastings that's a short drive (~15 mins) north of the property, and a few other nearby hotels. There should be Uber or another ride share option available for transportation to and from the hotel(s). If you would like to camp on the property after the celebration, you're welcome to. Please just text Gabrielle beforehand that you plan to do so, that way she can confirm that there's room and keep track of anyone who's staying on the property.

Will the celebration be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We will be outdoors for the wedding celebration. Most of the land is grass, though there is a dance floor and a small hangout area with cement. There will be a large tent to provide coverage if there is any inclement weather. If it pours, we may have to make it a parasol party and have you bring your fanciest umbrella. Either way, we'll still be dancing the night away!

What time should I arrive?

The celebration begins at 6:30 PM (no need to come earlier! John and Gabrielle will be having a small, intimate ceremony earlier in the day). The prepaid taco truck will be available from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

The RSVP includes a question about food allergies and dietary restrictions. We'll be sure to pass these on to our taco truck, who has assured us they can accommodate most dietary needs. We will also have snacks and drinks available and will list if there are any allergens present in them, and will keep gf items separate from the gluten items. If you feel more comfortable bringing your own snacks/food, you are welcome to do so. If you have any specific dietary needs or questions about the food provided, feel free to text Gabrielle and she'll be happy to help answer them.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yep! There is parking on the property and along the two roads against the property. We'll have signage to help guide the parking situation. Please carpool where possible! And if you don't feel you can drive home afterward, please talk with one of the wedding family members to find a place for you to stay. We want everyone to have fun and BE SAFE!
