PREFERRED OPTION: Salzburg (SZG) 1.5 hrs by car or 2h by train. OTHER OPTIONS: Vienna (VIE) - 3 hrs by car or about 3,5-4 hrs by train. Munich (MUC) - 3.5 hrs by car or 5–6 hrs by train. Since Öblarn is in the countryside, we recommend renting a car for flexibility, though Austria also has good train connections. See car rental and train details below for each airport. If traveling by train, check with your hotel about pickup, as taxis are limited. Shuttles will be provided to and from the wedding events.

We’ve taken the train several times from Salzburg and Vienna, and Öblarn train station is just a 5–10 min walk from Schloss Gstatt. Train tickets can be booked through this link, on the ÖBB app, or at the station.
