How We Met
It all started with a favor—Brandon needed a dog sitter for Opie, and his sister Aaliyah (my daughter’s preschool teacher!) was roped in. Little did she know, she was about to play Cupid. Opie ended up being the real matchmaker, and we met in 2018. We took things slow—blending families takes a little time! Fast forward to 2020, pandemic chaos and all, we made the big move to Pennsylvania. Four years later, life is wonderfully messy and full of love with our kids Mason, Cata, and Vito—and our fur crew, Charlee and, of course, Opie. Who knew a dog-sitting favor could lead to this much happy chaos? We wouldn’t change a thing.

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! To help keep the day beautifully coordinated, we kindly ask guests to avoid any shades of blue and orange. Please plan to arrive 10– 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. Once the ceremony has started, guests will not be allowed to enter until it is complete.

Our Venue has kindly asked for us to share this with our guests: The Anthracite Center is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. What should I wear?

While we adore your little ones, we have decided to keep our celebration adults-only. The only exception will be children in the bridal party. We kindly ask that children under 13 not attend.
