After knowing each other for over half our lives and then embarking on a romantic relationship for 12 years, a love has grown and blossomed. Perhaps it was a gift from the divine or an extremely good line up of coincidences - either way being together has changed our lives in so many wonderful and fulfilling ways. On a birthday celebration that took place on an October desert night in 2013 a charming former student body president took the center social stage. He was handsome and charismatic - witty and kind. The much goofier curly haired maiden (before the night's event) had been told by a reliable source that the young suitor planned to pursue her romantically (after having been only friends for several years). Curly girl was nervous that inviting the man to her birthday would send the wrong message. However as the night went on, the goofy maiden wondered why she had ever been so worried and what would be so wrong about exploring a different path with the young gentleman. After this night the true journey began for the young couple, connecting through life's ups and downs, traveling to places far and wide, living in homes large and small, and forging a life together. We are excited for what the next chapter in our journey holds and can't wait to make new and wonderful memories in our own little love story.
