Important: All flights to Vieques end by 5:30pm. Airline options: Cape Air, Vieques Air Link, & Seaborne. Flight availabilities only appear about 2-3 months in advance. Vieques Airline also offers flights to Vieques from: Isla Grande Airport (SIG) ~20 minutes from SJU Ceiba Airport (RVR) ~60 minutes from SJU *Flights out of these two airports are usually more budget friendly *Taxi from SJU to Isla Grande is ~$16 *Taxi from SJU to Ceiba is ~$80 for up to 8 people

Ferry information

BOOK IN ADVANCE FOR THE FERRY! Ceiba is the ferry port to travel to Vieques. If you choose this option, plan for a drive of about 90 minutes. The ferry trip to Vieques takes about 45-60 minutes. Plan to be at the ferry terminal at least an hour prior to your designated trip. You must find transportation from San Juan Airport to Ceiba Terminal (Marina Dr. Roosevelt Roads Ceiba, PR 00735) to arrive at the Ferry Terminal. It is approximately 1 hour away from San Juan Airport. Link to ferry times & tickets to VIEQUES ISLAND (30 min boat ride). Round trip tickets are $2-$4! (No Uber on Island) Taxi service is available! Fare is $5 pp one-way around town and $20 pp round trip to the far eastern beaches with a scheduled pick up time. You’ll have much more flexibility with a rental car but if you need a Taxi we recommend Vieques Taxi (787) 741-TAXI.
