We met thanks to the Instagram account @singlechristiangirlmemes. Leslie followed this account for the funny memes about being a single millennial in her 30s. One day the Instagram account owner posted that she wanted to play matchmaker, and that single guys should send in their photo, with a short bio and a question to ask interested ladies. Mike found out about this matchmaking event through another Facebook group, and sent in his info. This wasn't Leslie's vibe, so she didn't think much of it, and missed it because she had her life group the night of the event and didn't see any of the Instagram stories that night. Apparently the initial matchmaking event was so successful, and there were so many guys that sent in their info, that she decided to do a second round a few nights later. That Wednesday, as Leslie was scrolling through the 'gram and @singlechristiangirlmemes came up in her stories, and Mike was the only one in Texas and close to her age, she thought, "why not?" and shot her shot.
