How We Met

Back in 2019, Izzy was working in HR while Chris was working in IT when the two met at work. A friendship formed quickly, and everything naturally clicked from the start. After both experiencing relationships that didn’t work out, finding someone who felt so easy to be around came unexpectedly. Over time, that friendship turned into something more, and on June 3, 2023, we officially started dating. Today, we live together in Erie, Colorado with our three dogs, Bodie, Kylo, and Pete. Both of us still work in our respective fields, although Chris has since moved on to a new company. Even though we no longer work at the same place, working remotely still gives us the chance to spend our days together, which has made this chapter of life even more special.

We are so excited to bring all of our favorite people together for one unforgettable celebration! While we’ll officially be getting married in an intimate courthouse ceremony next year, this will be our one big celebration with the family and friends who mean the world to us. If you know us, you know Izzy loves soaking up the sun, and making every trip feel special, while Chris is happiest out on the water jet skiing and relaxing at the beach. Together, we’ve always shared a love for travel, new experiences, and making memories wherever we go. After our wedding next year, we’ll be heading to Southeast Asia for our honeymoon, with Thailand, Vietnam, Bali, and other beautiful destinations on our bucket list. More than anything, we’re excited to celebrate this special moment surrounded by the people we love most.

Join us in Boulder, Colorado August 15th, 2026 from 1-5pm! 2840 13th Street, Boulder 80304 Please join us for an afternoon bursting with love, laughter, and wonderful company. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with the family and friends who mean the world to us! We’re keeping things lively and festive, with an afternoon full of great music, delicious tacos, a photo booth to capture memories, and plenty of time to celebrate together. The celebration will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, with most of the party happening outside so everyone can enjoy the August sunshine while still having a place to cool off indoors. And for anyone wanting to keep the party going, we’ll be continuing the fun on a Party Bus and more shenanigans along Pearl Street at the Sundown Saloon (dive bar), aka the Downer! We hope to see you in Boulder!
