The first time Jason saw Fresnia on Instagram, he expressed to his friend Jack, "This girl is my type. You knew her all along?!" On August 8, 2020, their mutual friends decided to meet up for a bonfire party at Ocean's Beach. As they were all sitting around the fire, Fresnia sat next to Jason. Jason thought to himself," This is perfect...But I need to figure out I am going to talk to this girl.." So as the night went on, he found the perfect opportunity to talk to her but later he found himself ranting about his ex-girlfriends. Fresnia thought, "This guy is probably a player and tries to get girls through his sob story...RED FLAG!" A few days after the party, Jason text Fresnia. He said, "Hey Fresnia. I'll be straight up with you, I dig your vibrations you let off. It intrigues me honestly. With all due respect, I was wondering if you would be down to let me take you out one of these days?" Fresnia responded, "Thanks for being respectful and straight up. Honestly, I'm not looking for anything for a long while. I'm at a point where I want to focus on myself and my life. Just like you, I'm healing from a breakup, finding self-love again, and enjoying my time being single. I'm cool with hanging out but just as friends." When they hung out the second time, Jason listened to Fresnia's past relationships and they both reflected on what lessons they learned from their past. Fresnia thought to herself, "You know what, he's actually kinda cool.." And the rest is history...
