Daryl and Fredericka met on the day of Fredericka's best friend's birthday in 2016 (Hey Fallon!). Fredericka could not help but notice Daryl's cool dance moves at a party they attended, so she decided to introduce herself. They became friends shortly after, but Fredericka made sure to prioritize focusing on her school work. One day, Daryl asked Fredericka if they would like to hangout- queue the theatrical music "Dun-dun-dunnn!", and sure enough, Fredericka told him no. After telling her dormmates, they decided to sneak into Fredericka's room while she was in the shower, and text Daryl to come over for a visit, but to bring candy. So in the middle of Fredericka straightening her hair, you can imagine how surprised she was when she opened her door (hair all over the place) to find Mr. Pham standing with a giant bag of Life Savers in his hand. And that ladies and gentlemen, is the beginning of Daryl and Fredericka's love story. Fredericka admits that she always knew that there was something special about Daryl. Now she knows that it's Daryl's meticulous attention to detail with her, along with his patience and ability to have fun even in the smallest moments.
